Tactical, Informative, Useful
This book came recommended through a professional network. Erika does a great job clarifying what being strategic really means- and simplifies the approach and application. If you put in the effort to plan and define your true north star, how you get there is what it is all about. I highly recommend this book to anyone needing clarity or a refreshing perspective on how to be strategic.

Deceptively simple yet powerful.
Helpful approach that distills strategy down to a workable level for anyone. It almost forces one to look at things in their simplest high-level parts. In this way, the book does an excellent job of avoiding the biggest problem with most 'strategies' (they become 'infected' with 'tactics'). By avoiding this pitfall, 'Strategic Thinking' is able to focus clearly on the actual development and implementation of STRATEGY.

Great daily devotional thoughts!
Love how these thoughts are divided into sections so you can take it at your own pace. Very helpful and encouraging!

Good framework for strategizing
The first half of the book gives an excellent framework for the strategic process that can get you beyond just talking about it and all the way to execution. The second half is very redundant. The author keeps going over the same framework with different scenarios. I would suggest reading the first half, skipping forward to the section on facilitating a group, and skip the rest. Valuable information - just a third longer than it needed to be.

Easy to follow perspective of strategic planning
I thought this book provided an easy to follow perspective on using strategic planning on to guide your everyday life. It's probably not detailed enough for a full-blown business strategic planning session, but it covers the basic points. It was and easy, quick read. A little redundant, but most management books are. I would recommend it.

One of the best business books that I have ever read
The author very effectively breaks down a nebulous topic into an action oriented plan molded around a story of building a castle on the hill around a 1100 AD in Wales...really enjoyed the read and have three people that I am mentoring at work also buy and read the book. You will not be disappointed.

Book is great...
but an audio book version would be better! I have much more time to listen to books while working out than to sit down & read a book.
