Freia Fine Handpaints Wool Sport 100% wool yarn blend of Rambouillet, Corriedale and Columbia wool from sheep raised in Colorado. The fibers are worsted spun into a single-ply yarn that is surprisingly strong, yet still lofty. The fibers have a micron count of 22-24 making it soft to the touch, and yet it retains a rustic look, emphasized by Freia's hand dyeing technique. Freia sport and worsted wools are great for felting - we suggest hand washing only for non-felted items
