Kattee Genuine Leather Briefcase for Women, Large Capacity Laptop Bag with Luggage Tag

I'm a legal aid lawyer and honestly didn't think I could afford a bag this nice - it far exceeded my expectations. I rarely write reviews, and when I do, it's usually because I feel I've been swindled, not because I'm so happy with the product, but here I am.I don't care about labels, I just wanted three things out of my briefcase bag: 1) enough space for a laptop and several legal files - most of the briefcase bags made for women are just too small, 2) enough strength & durability to carry those things without breaking or wearing down the strap, and 3) genuine smooth leather of good quality. With a budget of $80, I thought I would have to compromise on the leather, and tbh I thought that was probably going to be the case with this particular bag. On the contrary, I was as pleasantly surprised as some of the other reviews that persuaded me to give it a try.As some other reviews have mentioned, the shoulder strap on the brown bag reads as more orange than brown, but not so much that it doesn't look like part of the bag. I think the product photo is quite accurate; you can see the strap is somewhat lighter and brighter than the leather, but it's similar enough to suit me. I was more concerned with the strap's durability, because they keep breaking on me, and this one is definitely heavy duty. The middle compartment is the largest by far, with a padded laptop pocket and enough space for 2-3 inches of legal sized files plus the cord and wireless mouse for the laptop. The outer compartments are quite slim and really won't accommodate a legal file more than half an inch thick - I think letter sized files would fit much better - but that's fine, I just keep a couple notepads in the back one. The front compartment has several small pockets for pens, business cards, etc. Despite its size, it doesn't *look* nearly as bulky as lot of other briefcase bags. The simple design gives it a sleek appearance and shows off the leather, which looks far more expensive than it is. In general, I believe it's true that you get what you pay for, but there are a few exceptions and this is one of them. Highly recommend.Update 10/28/2023: More than 3 years later, this workhorse bag is still going strong despite constant abuse. I've gotten tons of compliments on it and questions about where I bought it. I'm considering getting an additional color just to change things up.

I bought this close to a year ago and have been very pleased with its style, function, and durability so far. It does not see frequent use, but it does see some travel which I think speaks to its ability to take a hit or two. I really like that it houses my laptop, padfolio, portable monitor, and all my miscellaneous smalls with ease - all while looking like a vintage classic.

I love this bag. Not only is it stylish and beautiful with its rich color, I got the red one, it is sturdy and well constructed. I almost ordered one for twice the price but read the reviews and hesitated. So glad I did, I wouldn’t have found this beauty. It has lots of room to hold your things. An outside zipper pocket and an inside one for personal items. A zipper compartment in the middle for your computer and then an additional zipper compartments on both sides of the computer compartment for file folders or other things. I’ve had this bag for about two months and it looks just like it did the day it arrived. I highly recommend it. I don’t usually write reviews and I wasn’t given any promotion to write this, I just really love the bag, hard to find things that really please me 😊

This bag looks really sharp. Several people thought I spent more than $250 on the bag. I took away one star because of the color. I ordered “Coffee,” which was shown to be a reddish brown leather. The color that came (while pretty) is a dark brown—more the color one would imagine with the name “coffee.” Still very happy with the purchase though.

Well worth waiting for! I had shopped for almost 9 months before committing to this bag. I was looking for genuine leather, well made, organized, stylish, something worth the investment without breaking the bank. I didn’t need a label but a sleek, professional bag to house a tablet or laptop a few items and be a go to bag for the day. When I work I do not like to carry a purse in addition to a briefcase so I enjoy a bag that remains sleek and allows a wallet and a few back up pairs of glasses.Would highly recommend this bag if you are not looking for another “man” bag.

I bought this bag because I needed a nice bag to take on job interviews. It served that function well and I could fit a notebook, water bottle, and my wallet in the bag. Once I got a new job, however, trying to use this as a day-to-day bag has been an unpleasant experience. There are lots of compartments and pockets on this bag but they are all essentially useless because there is no give or expansion in the bag. I have to bring two extra bags to fit things that I actually need like my water bottle, a notebook, and snacks. Once there is a laptop in the laptop compartment and the charger etc is packed in the same compartment, the other compartments because unusable because all the space is taken up by the charger and laptop. I have crammed my water bottle, headphone case, and a camera into this in addition to the laptop and it becomes extremely difficult to zip. The layout of this bag also means if you want to get to any of those additional things you've packed, then you need to remove everything just to get to the one item.I want to like this bag but it's just impractical for me to continue using it. It would be good for flat things like a laptop and papers, but once you start putting items with even a slight amount of bulk or shape inside of it the utility degrades. I wish I could return it but once I started trying to actually use the bag for day-to-day I was outside of the return window. Definitely make sure this will suit your needs as quickly as you can.
