Slick and smells great.
Has a classic shave cream smell and is pretty slick. Doesn’t build a great deal of lather just rubbing it in your hands but is plenty thick enough. Have used it for razor shaving and cordless shavers with great results. I’ve always loved Barbasol in the can but got tired of the rust ring on the countertop. I bought one tube at the “W” store and then it was apparently discontinued there. Glad I could find it here on Amazon.

Not Irritating
The only shaving creams I have EVER found that has not caused some sort of allergic reaction (i.e. sneezing/rash). Has a Yuka rating of 100.

Not What I expected
I sure miss Neutrogena Shave Lotion. This is not a substitute. Hoped it would be. Decent fragrence. I wanted a lotion and this is more the Prograsso type of cream. It does not work with my electric as it's just too much lubrication.

Great for travel
This is the perfect size to pack in my carry-on luggage. Before I found this, I got stopped by security twice with a small can of shave gel that was supposed to be "travel size." I usually pack my shave gel in my check-in luggage but I was recently on a short trip and found I needed something better. These Nivea shave cream containers are much better suited for carry-on and they smell good also.

Nivea, please make again.
Why am I reviewing something that is no longer manufactured and has sometimes been listed as 'unavailable' on Amazon? To record, for posterity, what an excellent product it is? To stage a hopeless protest against its discontinuance? To make symbolic plea to get it back in circulation? Maybe all of these.I love how well this works, either applied more as a cream directly by hand or whipped up into an excellent foam using a brush. It is a great travel option, given its size and the fact that it is not under pressure. It creates a perfectly balanced (not too light, not to heavy) buffer for the blade. It rinses off cleanly, leaving my skin feeling smooth. It does not dry or irritate my skin.I use the Nivea post-shave balm (also sensitive) afterwards, which is quite good in itself. They have a similar scent. When I first tried both, they were carried by my local supermarket. I recall feeling so fortunate to have found very high quality and dependable products available close by and at a fair price.I never tried the standard non sensitive version of either the cream or the balm, so I cannot compare.I have also tried the very good, canned Nivea shave gel - it was a gift from my wife. It works nicely, smells good, is convenient to use at home. That being said, I am a traditionalist who ditched the can and multi-blades years ago, and picked up a brush, safety razor and non-aerosol cream. Nivea was a great daily go-to. I like Proraso, too, which has similar features. I still think Nivea lathered a bit better. So I just bought this (Greek market?) four-pack. It will last some time. Who knows, maybe there is a stockpile in cool storage somewhere I can return to when I run out again.Meanwhile, if anyone from Nivea reads this - I know there are so few of us Americans who actually shave this way. I know there may be no profitable business reason to do so - please bring the tube back.On a related note, I've believe more and more Nivea is now sourced/made in Mexico. I suspect production of this product stayed in Germany and needed to be phased out. I was hoping - as there must be half a dozen or more Nivea varieties of the shower 'gels' - that this gem could somehow stay in the line up.(For what it's worth, the sensitive skin version of the shower gel is also very good.)

My favorite shaving cream in my favorite form.
I will have a difficult time ever using a shaving cream not in a tube like this. Easy to travel with, the cream is a rich lather, much better than the standard cans we are all used to.

Works Great!
This works really well. A little goes a long way too so it’s a great buy-

Mixed bag
This is hard to judge. My tube came looking like someone had mangled it so the cap is a little hard to screw on. It's very thick and have to add a lot of water to get it to spread well. However it is very slick when gives a really nice shave without much razorburn. It is so thick, that even when lathered and used sparingly, it doesn't rinse out of the razor real well. You can manage it, but there are better products out there. Scent intensity is a little on the strong side for me, but no worse than most other creams. If you get razor burn easily, it is really, really good in that regard, so might be worth overlooking it's other flaws.
