Enjoying the first pack. The wife added extra meat and veg. I do like things hot and spicy. This was a test even for me. Abig blob of yogurt helped. Reheating Leftovers always intensifies things a bit so 2nd time around served over potatoes with vinegar added and yogurt on top. Still intense, but OH, so good. Next use will see just a half package used.

I've used this product for years as the starting point for my curries. A half packet of Chicken Masala (once just Chicken Curry) plus a full jar of Thai curry paste plus cayenne pepper makes a nice hot curry. I start with cut-up chicken and a diced onion, the above-mentioned sauce and add in some yogurt or milk. For me, this makes most restaurant curries pale by comparison.

Flavor is wonderful. But every one of the Shan spices is incredibly hot. That makes it difficult to make it for kids. (Even the butter chicken which is normally kids' go-to indian dish). It would be great if they could make some mild versions.

Best seasoning for curry. Just sucks that first box I open the curry is out of the bag all over the box

Use it all the time - stick to instructions or add your own twist to it - just really easy like a Knorr fix Indian style ! Tasty !!!
