Glass Dharma Decorative Dots 5 Piece Multicolored Glass Drinking Straw Set with Brush, 12mm x 9 Inch

The glass straws are wonderful. The glass is thicker than I expected, which is good because I dropped one on the floor (linoleum over concrete), and it did not break. The dots are pretty, help to keep track of whose drink it is, and give something to hang on to. The glass does get slippery when soapy. The 12mm is really large (maybe good for milkshakes or smoothies); next time I will purchase the 9mm.

Too big plus no colored dots were even on them! I returned them. I have 2 in a smaller size and I use them.

We'll never have to buy or use another plastic straw again. These straws are beautiful! I have to admit I was curious as to how strong they really are, so I banged it on our stainless steel sink quite hard a few times to test, and it didn't break or crack. The straws are not regular glass, but the kind used in Pyrex. Super strong, solid straws sure seem simply supreme, so safe and smart. Best of all, no plastic waste ever again.

I thought when it said five pieces it meant 5 straws. my bad. don't make the same mistake. otherwise the straws are great and colorful, just like the photo.

I bought these glass straws for my kids because all 3 of them don't drink from the cup. Because they drink alot I was concerned about the plastic straws they are using until I bought a bag of straws from 99 cent store and it had a warning that the factory making these straws is using chemicals that may cause birth defects or cancer so wash your hands and the straws before using!!! really?? wash my hands? what about my stomach??" This was the first time in my life to read such words on a plastic straw bags it was written according to the California law or something..I am from New York but if it hurts a californian so it will hurt my kids.I bought these glass straws because they are BPA free , plastic free very strong but it still got broken after my Cerebral palsy 5 year old daughter throw it on the wooden floors. I also recommend the bent ones to make it easy for kids to sip and put a carpet where they are sitting. They are reusable so you are saving on the long run.. there is a cleaning brush sent with them to make it easy to clean. Again don't leave your kids alone with anything made of glass.

I Absolutely love theses glass straws they are very pretty and seem to be very sturdy. I haven't had any problems with them unlike the ones I ordered from moxie glass which I loved as well but they are not as sturdy as theses are.

The diameter listed is inside diameter not outside diameter. Sadly the 9mm straw does not fit in the lid for my class cup (approximately 10-11mm). Love the straw but not the size. Unfortunately the "sipper" seems like it would be the right diameter, but isn't long enough. I ordered 2 sizes (9mm and 12mm in both 9" and 10." I will keep them but can't use them in the way I intended to use them. Disappointed in Washington!

I enjoy my morning green smoothies so much more now that have these. The width is perfect and clean up is a breeze with the brush that came with the set. Not to mention how cute they look!
