They are pants
I have had many Thai pants before and this style of thin material pant does wear out eventually but are sturdy and will last a good amount of time. They are extremely useful for yoga, tai chi and other movement exercises and I have also used them on long duration flights because they do not bind and leave room to breathe. This is the first time I have ordered from CandyHusky. They arrived in a simple carry bag that at first I didn't think I'd use but I now find it useful to keep the pants from wrinkling when I put them in my larger bag. I teach Ai Chi (Aquatic Tai Chi) and they are loose and comfortable giving me with plenty of freedom of movement. Beyond that, the material and sewing pattern are typical of these style of pants. I am 1.74m (5'11) and find I need to tie them just a bit higher to keep from dragging them on the ground. I'd rather have too much rather that too little material. Easy to hike up as needed. They are what I wanted and though slightly more spendy than I'd like I will likely order another pair as spare once I have the cash.

OH MY GAWD!!!
These pants are so comfy. I got White for my first pair. How have I gone 31 years of life without having a comfy pair of pants...These are thin and light. Unless you tie them too tight, you don't even notice them. They came in a beautiful cotton bag and included washing and wearing instructions. For anyone looking for a pair of comfy pants, these are for you. These are an excellent choice for replacing the ugly unsexy sweatpants!

Light And Comfortable Pair Of Pants With A Couple Of Caveats
I purchased these because at the time I was looking for a pair of light cotton pants for summer (to give some sun protection and keeps the mosquitoes at bay) and, well, the local stores sure didn't stock any, especially not for men. So when I saw these pants I jumped online to see what they were all about and, more importantly, how to wear them. Now I'm 5'11" and about 150-155 lbs with a 32 inseam, so I wasn't too sure how they would fit - would they be too long, too wide, too short? Still, for the money, and the fact there was nothing local, it was worth taking the chance. I'm glad I did.The pants arrived wrapped in a plastic bag with a small set of instructions for how to wash (hand wash/gentle cycle) and wear/wrap them. They were indeed cotton and very thin, though they seemed robust and well sewn. Unfolded, the pants looked huge and yet short, but putting them on I found I could wrap and tie them around my natural waist and have the legs end just about ankle height. Perfect! So why am I not giving them five stars? A couple of reasons:1. There is only one pocket. Now that is a glass half-full/half-empty kind of thing. On the one hand, most pants like this don't have any pockets at all, which means if you want to wear them out of the house you have to find some other way to carry wallet, keys, cell phone, etc. (I use a fanny pack). So having a pocket is a good thing. Unfortunately, that pocket can't carry all the stuff I tend to take with me and, because the material is so light (though the pocket is sewn on securely), anything not smooth - say a set of keys - quickly becomes irritating and is also likely to wear away the material prematurely. Finally, I simply don't like being unbalanced; putting what I can in one pocket with nothing to balance it out on the other side is, for myself at least, uncomfortable.2. The waist tie is very thin - think shoelace thin- though, like the pocket, it is sewn on securely. I would have preferred a thicker tie as, depending on how tight you tie it (and if you're using the pocket, you'll have to tighten it more than you would if you didn't), it can "cut" into the waist a bit. Nothing dramatic by any means, but it is noticeable.Since purchasing these I've worn them at least one day every week around the house, out in the yard, while doing yoga (cliche alert!), and going for walks in the neighborhood and find them - with the two exceptions noted above - to be very comfortable pants and solidly recommend them.

Hard to keep on. Very thin, but comfortable.
I like the aesthetics of these pants, and they are remarkably comfortable, however they need to be readjusted and retied several times a day. I don't mind them, but I often pass over them because keeping them resting on my hips properly can be a chore and is just one more thing I need to deal with throughout the day.

Fit perfectly. They are plus size, just not 'merican plus size.
These fit perfectly, are long enough to cover my legs completely (I am 5'11''), and are so comfortable. I have one aging pair of similar pants that I bought in Thailand 10 years ago, and in my opinion these have not only worked as a suitable replacement, they are much nicer. I have now ordered four pairs in total and will be using these as my regular attire. And to those writing that the pants are too small, lose some weight. I am by no means skinny, yet these would fit if I gained another 100 pounds.

Not durable
Fabric around the knee split after 5 weeks of wearing and washing them. VERY comfortable once on, but straight leg snags on a wet foot. My husband's foot is longer than the diameter of the pant-leg. Great rag for cleaning glass now. Hemp Bellbottoms would probably be a better sailors' choice.

So Comfortable!
I bought these for my husband to wear while doing his martial arts katas. Now I need to get him some more because he wears them all the time! He loves these things. They fit well and have lots of moving room. My husband is 5'10" and they are a good length for him but may be short for taller people. The only downside might be that they recommend hand washing. A minor inconvenience to me for him to be so happy with them.
