Civil Engineering PE All-in-One Exam Guide: Breadth and Depth, Fourth Edition

thanks to this book i pass my PE exam, and i still use it as a reference for topics i may not be quite familiar with

Great book to start off your PE self-study.

Great for studying for the PE and I think I’ll hold on to this to use later in my career too.

For Transportation I passed at first try with this book and the latest Green Book. Tab this and you should feel confident

It’s simple, straight forward, and cover all subjects.I took PE transportation and it was very helpful.

I had the third version of this book but bought the fourth edition hoping that it will be updated for the newer versions of the standards and codes as claimed. Looked at the preface of the new book when it arrived and it mentioned that the AASHTO 7th edition has been used as I hoped for but once I went to the Bridge Design chapter it still had the old AASHTO standard (6th) referenced and still refers to the old NCEES syllabus. Then I opened the same chapter on the third revision of the book and as suspected nothing has changed. Before returning this book wanted to warn everyone about this. True that I didn't check every chapter of this book but for me what I have found is enough to warrant a return.
