Some good head covers
I have used the zipper kind of head covers and the velcro and magnetic closure leather types as well. All have been just okay. These knitted ones are great. Easy on, easy off. They stay on, so far. The only downside is that they could be a bit longer. Maybe an inch longer at most and they would be damn near perfect. And these are much smaller, when on, than the other types so I don't have to fit to get clubs into my bag. I wish they came in some bright colors. I fear I will drop one and never find it again.Addition to original review. So I have had these for some time now, almost a year, and I can say that these are the best iron head covers I have ever owned. Well worth the money. I haven't lost any covers yet but that worry is always there. These do not get cut or worn through like the neoprene covers. And they have held their shape this whole time.

Short necked, woven sock, iron head covers
These iron covers do not extend down the club shaft sufficiently to protect against shaft coating 'bag burn' which was the primary reason for purchase. Not being used.

Great fit
The head covers fit great. Long enough to fit down the shaft but short enough to not get clumped up at the bag slot. Used for a month or so, good quality.I use on Cleveland Hibore irons so they stretch enough to fit.
