The best Irish vocal group of today!
As always, Celtic Thunder always delivers. The music, a combination of folk, modern and traditional Celtic is all well played, and the vocals are always done with enthusiasm. These artists enjoy what they do, and shows. I, for one, would love to hear an album consisting of all one genre, preferably traditional Celtic, some English, some Gaelic, some light and airy, some with the sadness of a race, the Celts, who forever seemed destined to fight for their identity. I own most of their albums and will continue to purchase new ones as they become available.

Celtic Thunder - or should I say the "Celtic Thunder family" ? (no, they are not related)
There are plenty of songs on you tube if you have never heard them before. They are a group of men and each one has a beautiful voice and is great at what they do.The first time I heard them sing was when they were on PBS and I was clicking through the channels on the tv - but I stopped as soon as I heard them sing. I have been a devoted fan since that first song. They have never disappointed me. When you see them live or watch a DVD, you'll notice that the audience is from the young to the old and all points in-between.I love the sound of their songs, I love the song selection, I love the production of each number ... they are just awesome. If you have heard them before, you know you won't be disappointed with any of their CDs or DVDs. If you have never heard them before, check them out and listen to a little clip or watch something on you tube - you won't be disappointed. Then pick anything they have done and you will find yourself smiling or singing along ... or there may be a song or two that will bring a tear to your eye because it touched you. This group never disappoints.

Everything you need to know about Celtic Thunder DVDsand CDs, so far
Here you go, everyone. This might help eliminate the confusion as to which track is from which particular Celtic Thunder DVD or CD. Note that Heartland and Ireland's Call are repeated a lot because those are more or less the group's big recurring signature songs, so that's cool. But it's odd how other songs get thrown around, too, as you will see below. I hope I didn't make any mistakes. There just a lot here.I'd like to suggest that those who wish to figure this out better should copy and paste the DVD lists into the left column of a table, and the matching CD lists into the right column of said table. Then you can get an easy-to-read side-by-side comparison. It truly is an amazing mixture, and confusing. Hope you enjoy the list. The DVDs:"The Show" DVD (2008):All of the "The Show" CD cuts are here. Love The IRISH !!!!!!!!!
I first was introduced to Celtic Thunder on PBS and was not able to afford the CD now AMAZON has a wonderful dip in price that I ordered this one, HERITAGE, some call them a glorified 'boy band' whateve' This is a CD that puts a bit 'O the Irish in anyone who listens. The Guys are easy on the eye to watch and easy on the ear to listen to. This is probably the best CD of theirs (in my opinion) if it matters, oh thats right IT DOES because I LOVE THIS MUSIC AND THIS GROUP!!!!! so it matters to me, I hope you try it out, another plus on AMAZON Music listen to hte tunes before you buy them NICE !!!!! Recommend this to anyone who wants a lift to their music library.

The Best of the Best
Celtic Thunder is absolutely the best thing to come across the pond. These Irish and Scottish (one) lads will melt your heart, lift your spirits, and brighten any day. Heritage is a genuine celebration of Celtic roots. I love and own everything they have done since they began in 2007. I have seen three of the live shows and I have to say that this work is way at the top of their CD's and DVD's. Songs such as Galway Girl, Home From the Sea, and A Place In the Choir will have you clapping your hands and tapping your feet. The soft melodies of Kindred Spirits, My Love Is Like A Red, Red Rose and Just A Song At Twilight will give you pause and perhaps bring a tear to your eye and memories to your heart. However the two songs that I like best on the CD is Keith Harkin's rendition of The Dutchman and Damian McGinty who sings Buachaill on Eirne in his native Irish Gallic. Heritage is Irish at it's very best.

BLEW ME AWAY!
I had high expectations when I ordered this CD and was not disappointed. In fact, it blew me away. I've heard a lot of music in my 66 years but none have impressed me like this CD! The more I hear, the more I want to hear. You not only hear them sing, but you "feel" the songs. Each man can easily stand on his own, but when you bring them together, their chemistry makes the magic happen. They have a special added ingredient when they sing their solos that makes me feel as if I'm alone in a room with the singer and the song is being sung to me...just me.I was very impressed when I read their individual bios on the internet. Not only can these guys sing, but they have brains too! They are the kind of men I'd have been proud to have one of my daughters bring home.I look forward to following their careers for many, many years.

A GREAT LISTEN.
I am quite new to Celtic Thunder but have already become a huge fan. Their music reaches out to people of all ages as it is so varied, ranging from the very traditional to the modern. The group have something for everyone and their range of ages also appeals to both young and old. There is also a great comaraderie and humour among the performers, I thoroughly enjoy listening to them and would love to see them live.

Celtic Thunder
Wow - I love this music - folk style, but modern too. Some of the songs are so poignant, especially the first one about the Dutchman. Great band, and hope they carry on for years and years.
