Very well made & does the job

Bit wobbly
Looks great, but poorly put together. The metal spike isn't attached very well to the wooden handle so it wobbles quite a bit. Feels like it might break on a few uses.

essential kit for wilder gardens
if only I'd found this 50 years ago. A great tool for opening up a hole to start trowelling into. Tough and easy to use the only comment I would make is that an engraved centimetre scale would be useful for bulb-planting
