One worked amazingly, the other 2 sucked. Update: All 3 are working great.
Updated: I decided to give the lights a try again after the sellers sent me an email apologizing for my bad experiences with their product. I then read a lot of the reviews posted about these lights, and realized that the amount of lighting that hits them really makes a difference to whether or not the lights themselves work well. The darker it is, the more sensitive to movement they are, the better they work. The seller asked that if I wanted to, I could return the products and they'd send me new ones as replacements to give them another try. I decided I would use the ones I still had, that I'd had problems with before, and test them out for a few weeks before I returned them. (I wondered if maybe it was user error or something). The one I felt works best is still in my bedroom, and still works perfectly. Turns on with movement once it's night time and we turn off our bedside lamps. Stays on long enough for us to get to bed.The second light was one that had given me issues, the one I had placed in the closet. I noticed that it didn't turn on as often when it was day time. To get to my closet I have to go through the bathroom, and my bathroom has windows (with blinds, but quite a bit of light still filters in). At times the light works, but if it's too bright in the bathroom, once I open the door to the closet, the light won't turn on. When it's dark enough though, the light always come on with movement. So, it's working as it should be. 👍The third light that had also given me problems I think was the most sensitive to light. I put that one facing the door to my coat closet. It's a pretty deep closet (almost Narnia like) that the younger members of my family like to hang out in (nieces and nephews), so I made it into a little secret room for them. Since it has no windows (because it shouldn't), it's pretty dark inside, so I put that light facing the door so it activates once the door opens. It took a day of having it there for it to work well, but since then, it actually works perfectly every time.TL;DR- It has to be dark enough for the lights to work perfectly. They were made to be sensitive to light, so they don't turn on when a room is lit up enough. All three are now working perfectly for me. Good product. Will probably buy another pack again. 👍Previous Review: One of the 3 works amazingly. It's perfect for what I wanted it for. (I just put it on the floor of our bedroom, facing our bed. It leans against a corner.) As soon as we turn off all the lights for bed, the movement when going to bed causes it to turn on and we can actually see where we're going. As soon as we're snuggled in bed, it shuts off with perfect timing. 👍The issue is with the other 2. I wanted to put another in my closet that would activate as soon as the door is opened so I can see before I turn on the switch to the actual closet light. Well, the first light I put batteries into lit up once the batteries were inside, and then never turned on again. So I took out those batteries (which were new) and put a different new set of batteries, but the same thing happened. So I tried the last light, and exactly the same happened. I just left the batteries in it and put it on the floor of my closet, leaving it against a wall, facing the door (it's like maybe a foot or less away from the door). After a couple days, it started working better but sometimes it wouldn't light. Now, after a few weeks, it works a lot more often than not, but it still has its moments at times 🙄.If it weren't for the issues of the other 2 lights, I'd have gladly given this 5 stars.

Works well
Bought these a while ago and use them in my closets! - If you have a big closet use at least two. They work great -bright and turn off once door is closed . I change my batteries maybe every two months. I f you leave you cloast open it will stay on except if it is daytime

Works great...when they work...
Great battery life, easy installation with the 3M "peel and stick" for the back, and also with the metal back (already incorporated). In general, they have great light and a great motion sensor feature, algo great size and "look"... but after using them for more than 6 months 1 of the first 6 we bought is not working anymore. Two of the others seems to fail time to time, I mean that just won't light up unless you hit them (yes , looks like they need some internal adjustment). They have been placed just right out of the box with fresh AAA battery's I already have. With this I meant to say that this problems I mention just happen out of the nothing. They were working fine and suddenly 3 of the had the problems I mentioned.I'm using the 6 lights in our stairway to second floor, all of them placed like in a zigzag position (right-left-right-left...). Worked perfect at the beginning. Since I really like them and had good price, I decided to give them a second opportunity so I bought a new badge of 6 to replace some of them and use the rest in other parts of the house. Hope this time, won't have any problem.

Nighttime Safety at Top of Stairs
My kids tell me that these stick-on lights have been around for a long time; I was slow on the uptake, but when I saw them advertised in a lightning deal I swooped in and bought them. We recently had our floors redone, and the man at the flooring store that assisted me said the wood and the carpet should be the same color so the transition would not be so obvious when we go from one room to another. That sounded right. Only when it was already installed did I see the problem: with the lights out, I cannot see where one ends and the other begins, and this is a dangerous situation when you're heading down the stairs at night. I don't like to turn on the overhead lights, partly because they're bright and partly because with the bedroom door ajar, I don't want the light to wake the mister. I have seldom seen the right product pop up at exactly the right time. I installed one of these little hummers on the wall just above the stairs--see photo--and the motion sensor works like a charm. It's a good amount of light for safety without being bright enough to wake a sleepy person wide awake.Since I had two more, I popped one into the coat closet and the other into the linen closet, and I love them.I suppose there are drawbacks. If I remove this thing, it's going to make a big mark in my freshly painted wall. Also, for this reason landlords will probably not want tenants to use them. But we own our home and can do what we want, and when this light wears out, I will just put up another in its place. Hopefully that won't occur soon. Each light takes 3 AAA batteries which you have to buy and install. This didn't bother me. I paid about five bucks per light not counting tax and batteries, and for safety lighting, it's well worth it.
