replacement for rebuilt VP pump....
Rebuilt VP pump a couple of seasons ago (New bearing, seal, etc) but it failed...bearing was seizing and leaking. Saved a couple $00 ...but almost got stranded at sea... Decided to pay the big bucks for OEM equip. Hoping for years of service from this bearing/seal. Impeller every other year.Appears that shaft was not pressed in square as pump head 'wobbles' as the engine runs...hoping it looks worse than it really is.... hence the 3 stars: didn't expect this quality defect. Didn't have time to return for replacement....
