No burning eyes but great sun protection!
No more burning eyes from sunscreen!!!! I would avoid using sunscreen around my eyes because of the burning and watering eyes it would cause. This stuff WORKS!!! And has a light tint for a bit of coverage if needed. I wish I would have known about this sooner and will be part of my year round daily routine!

Where’s the competition?
I want to write a regular run of the mill review for selfis reasons such as keeping enough product in stock. But I can’t do that! This product is fabulous! It is like a creamy moisturizer that just a very little bit goes a long way. I squeezed out product a little bit more than a peppercorn but a little bit less than a pea for each eye, and it covered both eyes, underneath and above. It had a moisturizing effect on my skin and was not sticky. It’s about light to medium weight. It lasts all day.The only concern is it pills about 5-10% underneath the eyes. (Not on lids or below eyebrows or side of eyes). I think it’s because I’m not putting moisturizer on under the product in my under eye area. It is so mild, that it is not a big deal and I simply brush it away. I also want to try the eyeshadow from this seller to see if it brightens my eyes even more. The obvious negative side is that it’s expensive and the only competition I can find does not have the same quality. I don’t know why us buyers are not asking sellers for eye sunscreen? There’s face sunscreen that is a huge market but our eyes are the most delicate features on our face. We should be using sunscreen on our eyes every day. No wonder there’s such a huge market for eye moisturizers! All of our eyes have been exposed to the sun everyday.Well it’s sad for me but I can’t afford this awesome product on a long term basis. Hopefully if more people buy it, the seller will lower the price? It’s definitely worth the price in my opinion, at least to try it out to get your own opinion.UPDATE: I think it depends on what eye moisturizer you put underneath it, if it pills or flakes. Someone said not to use moisturizer with oil in it or it will pill and flake. It does best with no moisturizer underneath it, at least until I find an eye moisturizer with no oil in it. Sure, it’s not perfect but I don’t want my under eyes or above eyes to get age damaged from the sun.

Not sure how to feel about it but I think I like it
This sunscreen "sets" extremely fast, and becomes very tacky and difficult to spread after only a couple of minutes. The first time I tried to use this sunscreen, it immediately pilled up, became tacky, and settled in the creases of my eyes. I was really sad because I like the regular supergoop but it causes bad stinging when I use it in my eye area. I will say that despite the pilling, I immediately noticed my eye area looked significantly brighter, I think due to the pinkish tint, not in a bad white cast sunscreen kinda way.I've found that the best way to use it is to make sure your eye area is moisturized with moisturizer, which helps it spread better. Then you have to really blend it in quickly before it sets. This kinda helps it to pill less/settle in the creases less. The pink tint really masks my dark circles and discoloration around my eyes and sort of makes them "pop" in a nice way. I could almost go without concealer/foundation with this.Sort of expensive for how finnicky it is, but I am finding that my eyes still look nice and bright at the end of the day (altho up close you might notice a bit of creasing) when I wear this so idk! Before when applying the regular supergoop sunscreen in the eye area my dark circles kinda amplified and looked awful at the end of the day, even with makeup. I think the tackiness of this makes it good to apply makeup over and it helps it stick better, as well as giving it a nice pink undershade to cancel out the dark colors.

Gentle, effective, and made for sensitive eyes — this one’s a keeper!
I have very sensitive skin and am incredibly picky about anything that goes near my eyes. I normally stick to baby sunscreen for my whole body—including a separate baby face formula—because adult sunscreens often irritate me. I was nervous about trying a mineral sunscreen that’s not specifically for babies, but I’m so glad I gave this one a shot. This Supergoop! Bright-Eyed cream goes on smoothly without being too thick or greasy, and most importantly, it doesn’t sting my eyes at all. That’s a huge win for me. I wear it under my regular face sunscreen, so it’s part of a pretty layered skincare routine, but the formula plays nicely with everything I use. It doesn’t pill or flake, and it feels light and breathable throughout the day.I also appreciate that this product is made specifically for the eye area—it’s rare to find SPF that’s truly safe and gentle for that delicate skin. And while it’s definitely on the pricey side, I think it’s worth the investment for something that protects such a sensitive and important area. I haven’t gotten sunburned around my eyes once since using it, and that says it all.If you’re looking for eye sunscreen that won’t burn, sting, or make your eyes water, this one is a solid pick. Sensitive-skin folks, this is your sunscreen soulmate.

strong sunscreen for eye area
A strong defense from the sun, especially nice around the eyes because of the flesh-tone color.

Bright-Eyed leaves creamy white residue
I have used Supergoop mineral sunscreen for a few years now and usually love it, but not the Bright-Eyed mineral eye cream. It has a toned color to it and doesn't sink into skin, leaving lines/streaks of creamy white residue under my eyes. When I've tried to pat it in a little more, it gums up and forms flaky specks under my eyes. What a mess! And, when those flakes got into my eyes, man did it cause irritation. I do not recommend this product.
