Fits just right in the shoulders, sleeves a little long, I may take it up a little in the back cause it is a little big when I button it. The hat is not bent up like some have said. I guess it's according to how they package the product for shipping. Came with black bowtie. It works for what I need, a dance routine at the family reunion. I am 6' tall and weigh 230 pounds, broad shoulders and no big gut so the XX-Large is the one for me. The X Large would have been too small. Hope this helps.

This jacket is great for a gangster costume for my husband. He is very fit and 6’4” tall. The XL fits him well in the shoulders but a bit baggy in the waist. He has a 34 waist. The hat and bow tie are very cheesy. The hat is way too small, too. We will keep this jacket because it is a good value for a costume and looks great. We will buy a new hat and tie.

The jacket was perfect. However, the bow tie was pretty cheap and the hat was very small.

I bought this outfit for a Roaring '20s fundraiser and was pleased with the overall fit and quality. I was glad I ordered it well ahead of time, because I did need to flatten the brim of the hat before it could be worn. During shipping the brim had been pushed out of shape, so I just placed books on it for a few days to flatten it out. The jacket was also wrinkled, but some fabric softener spray took care of that. I'd recommend this for anyone who needs to attend a theme party, but order ahead so that you can get it ready before the event.

I bought this costume for my husband for 1920's inspired party. It was "ok". The hat looked goofy and didn't fit his head right so he skipped out on the hat. I ordered a large because that's the size he would normally wear, BUT the shoulders were tight and uncomfortable and the sleeves were way too long. The colors were nice though, and I still thought he looked good in it. It does not include the shirt to wear under the coat. It does not include pants. (Which most people probably know- but I just wanted to mention.)

I'm an average size man, 5'-11", 195 lb. muscular with a 36 inch waist and 44 inch chest. The large was too small and had to be returned. The X-large was a usable fit. Pictures and reality are very different. I was disappointed because the picture shows a jacket that fits in the shoulders, the arm length, and isn't too long. What I got was extremely wide shoulders, yet the cut of the underarms didn't allow you to raise your arms at all and the sleeves were about 4 inches too long. The jacket was long, down to mid-thigh. The tie very very small, nothing like the picture. The hat was too small, and the stripe was a different pattern, mostly black, about 25% red with no shine to it. It didn't have a flat brim, instead the straw hat material was wavy and couldn't hold a shape. I can accept a thin, cheap item for halloween, but to not look the same is wrong.

Liked costume and price. Coat a little small but usable. Next size up would be too large. Hat needed reshaping. Simple. Dampen just the area on the hat that needs reshaping and shape it. Weight it or pin it in some way and let it dry.

I like the jacket and it's better quality than I thought. Bought it for a 1920 Gala fundraiser. Jacket fit me well and may where it again for someone's wedding. Customer's comments about the hat are correct, they need to learn how to package it better so it's not crushed or bent. I was able to straighten it out though, actually I ironed the brim.

The hat is too small, bow tie was also too small. Jacket was almost big enough, due to my ample gut. Still liked the product, but, feel the one size fits all hat and tie are a total waste of money, as they don't fit.
