Indoor traction for my 85-lb service dog
My 85-lb labradoodle is a service dog and goes to work with me every day. However, he was slipping so badly on the linoleum floors that it was aggravating his knee ligament & hip issues.Enter these grippy socks - these are a game-changer for indoor traction, especially for seniors or dogs with orthopedic issues. They're super soft, his nails don't go through as long as I keep them trimmed, and most importantly? They actually work.Being a service dog, he is much more tolerant to having his paws messed with than other dogs, but they are super easy to put on and made with quality fabric. As soon as my dog realized what the socks were for, he started racing up and down the hallways, absolutely THRILLED with the fact that he could stop and not slide across the floor.I call these socks his "doggy brakes," and he genuinely appreciates them. Recommended these for my parents' dog who just had TPLO surgery on his CCL ligament, and they seem to really help him on the hardwood floors too.Excellent purchase - look no further for the end of the doggy slip-and-slide!

Good overall but flawed.
My senior dog licks and chews on his paws a couple months or so each year due to increased allergy issues. He takes allergy medication year round already so we just have to deal with the problem a different way. These socks are helpful. They are easy to take on and off. They are easy to care for (I hand wash them and hang them up to dry). I like the fact that you get six socks and the grippers are great. However, at least two of the socks (for the back paws) should be longer and have the Velcro in two spots or just one that would be higher up the paw (actually on the leg). They slip down on the back paws too much because they are too short for the back paws. Okay short term but not for longer time frames. Also, the snap for the Velcro attachment to the sock should have a cloth cover over the inside part because it presses into the dogs paw and can cause discomfort. I use these socks for short periods of time during the day when I can’t watch him and he sleeps in human socks that I tape on using cloth tape.

Very good booties
I have been very happy with the results of these booties. They stay on very well, and my small dog does not try to pull them off. She is comfortable wearing them. They have been washing up just fine, but I do not put them in the dryer. I let them air dry, since they are made of mostly cotton. People stop me in the park asking where I bought them, as they haven't been happy with their own purchase attempts.

Good for temporary use, but they don't last
Our Shetland sheepdog, Rosie, has discoid lupus that makes her paw pads sensitive and prone to cracking. We've experimented with a lot of boots and dog socks over the past year...these are simultaneously the best and the worst. They're the best because they're easy to put on, Rosie walks well in them (no tripping), they have good grip on our hardwood floors, and they stay on even when walking through a foot of snow. They're the worst because they tear after *one* walk. The sock in the picture here has been used for two, 15-minute neighborhood walks with Rosie. We can't afford to keep buying them so often, even though they work so well (before they quickly tear). We are buying Rosie some leather Dog Mocs next...fingers crossed they'll fit and stay on. In the meantime, we've switched to buying toddler socks and using the velcro bands that came with these socks to keep them up. This is working surprisingly well so far, and we've even found toddler socks with grippy rubber soles at Walmart.Overall, I'd recommend giving these a try; maybe your dog's nails won't rip holes in them instantly! And the velcro bands can easily be reused with toddler socks if that works for your pup.

Works very well
I got two packs when my dog broke a nail and it did not heal well. It does get wet since it is basically a regular sock. But fits well, stayed on well, it is stretchy. Socks protected nail from any further damage and also from my Tovi leaking his paw. The nail healed nicely even though my vet thought it was not healing because it was a cancer!! Turned out we just needed some protection for a few weeks.

⭐ Not Worth the Hassle or Allergic Reaction
I had high hopes for these dog socks when I purchased them to help prevent my pup from excessively licking his feet during allergy season. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of disappointing. While the socks do a decent job of staying velcroed on initially, my clever dog figured out how to remove them within a couple of weeks. It became a frustrating game of trying to keep the socks on his paws, only for him to find a way to wriggle them off time and time again. But the real issue arose when I noticed that these socks seemed to worsen my dog's symptoms. Instead of providing relief, the material used in these socks appeared to trigger an allergic reaction, causing increased licking and irritation. This completely defeated the purpose of using them in the first place. Not only did these socks fail to prevent licking, but they also introduced an entirely new problem – an allergic reaction that only added to my poor pup's discomfort. It's a frustrating situation when a product designed to help ends up causing more harm than good.I cannot recommend these socks to anyone dealing with a dog prone to licking their paws or experiencing allergies. The constant battle to keep them on and the potential for an allergic reaction simply aren't worth the hassle. If you're looking for an effective solution to prevent licking or provide traction on slippery surfaces, I would strongly suggest exploring alternative options. These socks have proven to be a disappointment and a waste of money in my experience.
