Gigaset GIGASET-E630H Accessory Handset Only for Cordless Phone

Its light and durable, it has a nice sound, plenty of message space, it has lots of features, and it's not complicated to use. It says its shock proof, somewhat waterproof, and dust proof. Haven't used it in a rainstorm, but I have dropped it a few times. It reminds me of the Nokia 3300, but for home use. What's great about this phone is that you don't need a phone RJ plug for the extensions. The base unit need to be plugged in, but not the extension. I have a 3 story house, and there is one on each floor, and there is no fade out. Also if the power goes out, the extensions work, as long as the base unit is plugged into a UPS. Also it uses rechargeable AAA batteries, so you can change them when they die. The batteries that come with the model last about a year. I have three of these phones. These Siemens models have not changed much in the 20 years I have been buying them, but they are dependable and mine are ok to use in 110/220 countries. But check your plug to ensure your model is 110/220. If yours is 110, you can easily find a 220 plug if needed. They have a universal DC plug for it.

No good without a charger

The unit itself is a marvel compared to the other brands and units we have seen on the market. I expect these to last a long time. Great customer service but replacement parts could be an issue because they don't have a replacement facility in the states. However, the technology and options (if you wish) meet our current needs and it is flexible to meet future likes/dislikes. Top notch. The only issue is with the charger plug design. When the unit is fully charged, you can hear a very low level alternating pulse coming from the charger plug- sounds like a quiet but noticeable ticking from a clock seconds hand. To hear it at all, you need perfect silence and you notice it from up to about 5 feet away. That is the unit not overcharging but trickle charging the battery -long life!! Electrical tape mutes it. Not a deal breaker for me but just letting you know. Other than that, pretty near perfect in our books. It is so adaptable with options. If you don't use options, it comes with default settings out of the box. No problem registering with the base. Read the manual and have it exactly as you want. Wing it, after registering the phones to the system, and it works fine.....

I recommend the E630H Handset for your Kitchen, Bathrooms, or for use Outdoors because it provides extra durability and moisture resistance. The E630H features a 'hardened case' that is far less likely to break, even if dropped repeatedly on a Tile floor. Because it's more resistant to moisture, no worries about picking this handset up with a wet hand or even using it in the rain. It also features a built-in high intensity LED Flashlight, (not available on other Gigaset Handsets), which comes in handy. While the E630H is a 50% more expensive Handset than the C530H, I think it's a much better fit for areas like a Kitchen or Bathroom. However, that said, the less expensive C530H is just fine for all the other areas of your Home, (Bedroom, Family Room, etc.).

Great phone - durable & user- friendly. The charger is noisy and can be annoying if paid close attention to. Make sure to get the North American version.

Usually have to buy a new phone every year for my business they are all junk. Finally found this found gave it a try. You can tell when you pick the handset up it’s a different animal. Quality phone. It’s Awesome and won’t have anything but one of these phones

This landline set has three wireless handsets. It was easy to set up. The instruction manual is very well written. It has many features that I find useful. The battery life is excellent.

We own a Gigaset SL78H multi phone system. Sadly, the phone is discontinued, but this little guy pairs perfectly with it.Great clarity, stands up by itself, bluetooth pairing is helpful and great speaker phone. It's not dunk-able in water, but weather resistant to a certain degree (rain and the occasional over spray from the kitchen sink)
