This is a high quality turmeric paste which can easily be used in cooking. I make sauce with it, for example by combining with tomato puree and mustard, then add to whatever I'm cooking. I also make a hot drink with it; the flavour goes well with many things, I even found it makes a nice savoury drink by combining with Marmite; another way to get more of this healthy product into your diet.

Jar was cracked.

Unfortunately, one jar arrived opened with a damaged lid, causing liquid to leak out. However, the package showed no signs of damage upon arrival. Miracle?I tried the paste, and unfortunately, it doesn't taste good. Please accept my return and either send me an undamaged jar or issue a refund.

Powdered turmeric is useful but has a 'dark' earthy taste that is not always what I want, fresh turmeric is quite different - much lighter and citrusy and tends to lift a dish, but a real bother to grate and stains everything. This jar is a good compromise. The only problem is that after about 2 weeks it is danger of developing mold = maybe I should freeze some of it.

Great product plus I received a complimentary jar of Massaman yellow curry paste to try which is both Vegan and Gluten free. It was delicious! Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition in a lovely cardboard box. Will purchase again! YUM!

Both items were stored correctly. One container was a mass of mould. Item had to be binned.

Reasonably priced, quick service
