Looks good to me.
I had did some research and watched several YouTube videos on convertible top cleaners and sealers. After the research the 303 product appeared to me to be the way to go.So, I purchased this kit, along with the 303 brush, to clean and seal my convertible top.First of all, I use a lint roller to remove as much debris on the top as possible before washing it. Next I washed the complete car and then used the cleaner and the 303 brush on the top. Left it out in the hot sun to dry. The went over the top again with lint roller and removed anything that shouldn't be there. I taped up all around the top and taped off the rear window.I liberally sprayed the top with the fabric guard, removed the tape, and wiped off any over spray on the vehicle and placed it in the A/C garage and left is dry for 3 days. After the three days a poured a bottle of water on the top and it beaded right up and ran off the top, on the water test.Am not really sure how am going to judge how affective the sealer is (weather and UV wise) or how long the sealing will last, because the vehicle I used this on is kind of a (?) garage queen. It does gets used, but it's a fair weather car, sunny or cloudy days, no rain or snow and of course, it's kept in an air conditioned garaged!I have to say the cleaner worked very good. After sealing, the water beaded up, ran off the top like it should. So far I'm happy with the purchase, it did a good job and I will purchased again when need...on second thought I'll purchased another kit now before the price goes up.

Good with a twist
I have to start off with saying that if you have to do this job outside, you better hope for a very calm day with NO wind at all. But hey, there's a better way and you won't find this in the instructions but it works great. Open the container, pour it into a bucket. Add an equal amount of water and wash all of it into your top with a terry cloth. you should be able to apply at least 2 if not 3 coats. Allow to dry or nearly dry between coats. I worked it in in less than an hour total. This way it isn't blowing everywhere, you only get it on the top and not on windows or mirrors, etc, so all of the product goes on the top. As well, you get an even layer each time, so no hot spots or missed spots. it's all even. After the final coat let it dry. Now the good stuff. Does it work. You bet. I do this once a year and it lasts all year. In fact it may go longer but I do it every Spring anyway. The protection is really what you would expect from 3M. In case you didn't know, this was the product recommended for Verts from day one, it hasn't changed. The other guys, new stuff, forget the name, they paid to get the nod, their stuff is good too, but costs more and for what? In my book, the old school 3M Protector Kit is still the undefeated heavyweight. Try it. you'll like it. It does not leave any sticky residue, no crispy shiny wax looking effect. You cant tell the stuff is there until it rains, then you know, you're precious top is protected. I have an 03 vette, Black Vert. the color is still like new so a bonus for the UV Protection as well, yes I take to Maxie's here in Ga and set it beside a new blactop just to compare. No difference after 6 going on 7 years of using 3M's Kit. 303 works for me. hope you like it too. See Ya.

Requires a little prep-work, but the results are worth it
The media could not be loaded. After evaluating many options , I chose this product due to my past experience with 303 products. I was restoring a 20 year old convertible top that was in decent condition, but had probably never been waterproofed before. Following the simple instructions on the cleaner I washed the top and let it dry overnight. The cleaner was easy to use, foamed exceptionally well and seemed very gentle on the top. The next day I prepped the car by tapering over all the glass and painted surfaces to protect them from overspray, which I heard could be difficult to get off afterwards. I then used a tape lint roller to remove any remaining lint, or dust post washing. Finally, I sprayed the waterproofing on the top, a very simple process, and let it dry for 24 hours. The top came out looking like it was brand new and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Worked on Porsche Boxster top
Brush: Extremely soft bristles! Definitely easy on top material, but needed to use something stiffer in a couple of spots (very carefully!). Decent for light soiling. Good ergonomics.Cleaning solution: Did the job on a good condition, lightly dirty top.Treatment solution: This top has been well taken care of so hard to say how effective. Water beaded before application but did seem to do so more after. The many youtubes are pretty convincing however for tops in worse initial condition. One application of each solution was sufficient.Outcome: Squeaky clean with water beading. Satisfyingly black and fresh looking. Couldn't ask for more. No clue how well it works on a non-maintained top, but suspect there is no reason to buy more expensive products.Application Notes: I only masked the car's hard edges with painters tape. Wetted whole car BEFORE both cleaner and treatment steps. When flushing the cleaner, I used LOTS of water on top and whole car. Did not remove paint protectants which is a potential issue. The pre and post water deluge seemed to prevent that. When treating, I was extra careful about overspray by using a handheld cardboard shield (inside garage to avoid wind drift) and treated the top perimeter with brushed on liquid rather than spray.Avoiding full masking protocol saved a lot of bother and encouraged careful use of products.
