Brain Hacks For Traders

I will adjust this if I change my mind upon reading the entire book. I was hoping for something that would trick my brain into forgetting the things that keep me from trading. No, he is not orginal. Maybe I was asking too much, but this is worthless to me, even though it is correct - too simple. Things that I have been told over and over. I got through 1/3 of it and felt robbed with a book trying to be a book. You have to be a beginner, in my opinion to get anything from this.

I wanted to congratulate the author to spot all of these biases that we have as human. it does indeed help with identifying and trying to change them. In my case, I did some of the hacking ideas. I tried them and I can say it minimizes the biases for a day or 2 but no real lasting effect like working your beliefs and emotions as that's where the root of failure rate come from. Not bad after all, I haven't figured it all out but it is one good book. It does help a lot

One of the most valuable skills I learned was the “Golden Ticket”. I’ll carry that with me the rest of my trading journey, as it has proven to make me profitable with SOOO MUCH less stress.

Gold mine of practical things to improve trading. I’m excited to implement these things into my routine. Very pleased for the price. Worth a read.

Yes. ***** Five Stars! Particularly for traders. I have read and enjoyed and gotten something out of Van Tharp, Mark Douglas and Ari Kiev but Harvey Walsh really is easier to read and much more practical. Forget about the review that calls it plagiarism; I have not read that "source" book, but I can tell you that the language, style in Brain Hacks for Traders works very well no matter where it "might" have come from. This is a very well written book filled with great information about the psychological aspects of Trading and how the trader’s brain views various cognitive biases. The writing is enjoyable to read and it is consistently well written throughout the entire text. I found it easy to understand and practical for improvement in ones trading.

A must read for every new traders and experience traders. Going through emotional barrier is not easy and no fun. Harvey Walsh have written a master piece that will help you get through the emotional barrier and take you to the successful path you been seeking.

Harvey does a great job going over many of the ways people sabotage their trading and techniques for fixing them. I took a chance on this book because his other books are top notch and highly rated. I would say this book fits right in there with them.
