Such fun and good value.
This was bought as an educational and fun thing to use with the kids. However they've not been trusted to use it yet because I love it so much! The world is amazing through it! And skin is disgusting, DISGUSTING!It takes less than five minutes from first turning it on to installing the app and using it. Very quick and easy.I have shown a closeup of the Queens nose on a penny because I would never dare show mine.My mum was so engrossed in it when I showed her how it worked that I'm sure she visited the following day just to use the microscope.

This works very well and is exceptionally good for children's education
For the money this microscope is exceptionally good. We originally bought one for our grandson and were so pleased we bought one for our granddaughter and my wife had one for her birthday to so they could all compare ugly mini beasts! The only downside is trying to hold it still without the stand but that really is to be expected. Although it works on reflected light I want to also try to make it work with transmitted light i.e. light passes through the subject you want to view, such as butterfly wings scales did you with conventional microscopes.

Educational
I bought this microscope for my children to look at some different micro things.It is so interesting for them to look for different things and then look at them through microscope. They pretend playing detectives and collecting evidence.The microscope is easy to assemble, well made, the best thing about it is that it's educational for children.Would definitely recommend. Great value for money.

Has issues that might stop you buying, but otherwise excellent value for money
Amazon info says new for this year and bought Sept 2020. SKYBASIC is actually an INSKAM316. Don't get alarmed with the name, its probably purely coincidental and they haven't noticed yet. For Android it uses the inskam app from the Google Store. The instructions come on a minutely typed manual that you need to use the microscope to read, but is simple, concise and got me set up with Wifi and running on a Samsung S20 straight away.The issues that are not apparent until you dig deep into the small print on the Inskam web site are with battery charging and USB connections to windows laptops (can't speak for Apple)Battery - it has a Lithium polymer battery, which don't take kindly to abuse. They advise not to try charging from a laptop USB port especially while it is working, so a mains adapter or power bank is required. This must deliver no more than 1 amp at 5v. All recent smartphone chargers now boast rapid charging, which is 2 or more amps (check on the plug). Luckily I had an old slow one to hand that I had not quite got round to throw away.Windows Apps - Its operated by the INSKAM1.apk app downloaded from the Inskam.com website, although I suspect other generic apps might also work. The camera Wifi is not compatible with Laptop Wifi, so has to use the wired USB connection. The small print says it is USB 2.0 compatible. This actually means its not USB 3 compatible, which is all I have on my HP Envy laptop. Luckily I have a spare Lenovo USB microscope (at half the price but what looks to have much the same working parts) - this runs perfectly on the laptop, but doesn't have Wifi.The SKYBASIC is intended for outdoor use on insect identification. so waterproofing would be useful. All together its all just about fit for purpose, and at the price worth the effort.

White plastic tool which connects wireless to phone or computer, which works like a microscope to enlarge things on the tray.Details are clear and pictures easy to see. Connect easily and can change the size of the enlarged object.Works easy and effectively. Not too heavy.Easy to store.Good value for money

Easy to Connect & Use
Really simple to connect to a phone or tablet. Handy that it lights up the object.The only down side is that you'll be looking for more & more things to look at - like the leg hairs of a mosquito!

Incredible microscope - sees cells with light table!
When I purchased this microscope, I wanted to use with biology slides so that I would be able to take photos of specimens for usage as art sources (science makes great subjects for abstract art!) So, I bought a 100 prepared slide kit, as well as a small portable led light table (one of those used for tracing). I thought this might work well because using it with a back light would emulate regular microscopes — and I was right! For much less than 100 bucks, I have a nice and portable little microscope that does what I want and shows beautiful pictures. The ones I have attached have not been processed on Photoshop, and this is my first day with the microscope, so I am sure that once I figure out the focus better, and take these to brighten on Photoshop, it will be even more amazing! I have gone through a few slides and every one is super cool... even the mitosis one, even though I can’t see the details of the mitosis, you can clearly see the different types of nucleus under 1000X. HIGHLY recommend, for science teachers and for artists — can you imagine getting a few of these for a school science lab? Get a few small light tables and you are all set! And you don’t have to worry too much about Kids breaking it because it is pretty rugged, and cheap!

Wow – What a great product
Give me a chainsaw and I will find something to cut. Give me a microscope and I will find something to inspect. This microscope is very nice and considering the price, an excellent value. I collect coins and I am also an electrical engineer. I tested it on coins, circuit boards and, of course, my wife’s diamond ring (her request). I have many more items to use it on. Both on my android phone and on my pc the image is clear and the magnification great. I cannot attest to the exact magnification, but it was 100x better than our jeweler loops (my non-expert opinion). It is a solid little device with a heavy stand that allows simple focusing, magnification level and led light adjustment. It is extremely easy to setup and use. I rarely give reviews, but I felt compelled to for this item. Picked it up on a whim and I am so glad I did!

Einfach toll, schöne Vergrößerungskamera
Ich bin absolut begeistert. Bestellt hatte ich es für unsere vierjährige Tochter, da sie sehr an Vergrößerungen interessiert ist. Ausgepackt hatte es mein Mann, und der erste Kommentar war: naja, ist halt eine Kamera. Ja, es ist eine kamera und kein echtes Mikroskop, aber nachdem ich es selbst ausprobiert habe und gesehen habe, was die Vergrößerung alles schafft, war ich begeistert. Absolut empfehlenswert bin Dinge zu untersuchen. Ja, eine Kamera mit Vergrößerung, aber tolle Übertragung und man kann vieles untersuchen. Ebenfalls toll ist, weil man es aus der Halterung lösen kann. Die App ist einfach zu bedienen und vielseitig

Very nice little unit.
Very nice camera microscope. It does a ver nice job at zooming in and focusing on objects on the pad. I gave it 4 stars just because I would love for the arm it attaches to to be longer for higher objects as well as to be able to maneuver it easier other than Thant I would highly recommend this unit to anybody. I mainly got it to be able to for focus on small objects while I’m soldering and this does an awesome job in that field so buy it with confidence And yes I’m sure you will find something to complain about but but it does the job it needs to focus and zoom is good and the Bluetooth option is zero to none on this beauty connects to my ipad without difficulties as you follow instructions in booklet. You’ll be magnifying things in ok time. Kids love to see thing up close it amazes them.Well done. Cheers.
