These are a brilliant investment. Does wonders as you come in a dark room looking for the light switch.

It isn't just for kids. We have reached an age where we sometimes need to get up in the night. This device (you get two in the box) is smaller and neater than it looks in the pictures. The photo seems to show a translucent pane but it is just a concave white reflecting area that directs the downward-facing LED. It just plugs in and works automatically. We use it in a socket in the upstairs corridor which is a few inches above the floor. The LED night light illuminates the floor perfectly, is not too bright, and stays on for just the right amount of time as you walk past. Nothing is adjustable, which is perfect for us. Plug and go. Great!

Ideal for giving enough light such that you don't trip on the way to the toilet in the middle of the night without switching a larger lamp on. Only down side is the location of the power outlet may be next to a radiator such that the sensor is hidden by the radiator preventing it from working. Check that it can be plugged in where the sensor can see you. Otherwise a good little item which works well.

To say that our bedroom is dark at night would be an understatement. If I wake up at night and don't turn the light on, moving about can be somewhat hazardous. Hence the reason I bought this night light. When I first plugged it in, absolutely nothing happened and I was convinced that it wasn't working. However, on closer inspection I found that it wasn't fully pushed into the socket. Given a firm push right into the socket it suddenly burst into life. Now if I get up for a "comfort break" this little light comes on reliably and prevents me from breaking my neck, by tripping over things. It provides enough light to enable me to navigate my way to the door, then turns off after a short interval. So all in all I am very pleased with it.

Great night light

These are really useful little gadgets - I have one in a room we have to walk through to get to the loo, as the light switch is on the other side of the room, and it mean I don't have to leave the main light on all evening. It's very sensitive to movement.

Bought these for the landing when my grandson stays - our bathroom is downstairs- works very well, although its like a disco if the cat does zoomies on the landing... would reccomend

Works well when they actually work. Unfortunately for me one of them became faulty as it kept turning on by it self
