I bought these as an extra set for my home. I have one already at the shop, but found out how handy they were at home unexpectantly. The MDF board had water damage under the sink. So whoever built the cabinetry thought it was a good idea to put in some kind of wonky wooden thing in back with a shelf looking thing. Long story short, I had to get these in order to get an idea of how to cut the new MDF. VERY handy all I had to do was press, clip and boom, got it!

These two tools work well, only complaint is if you need to use the edge of these as part of your measurement or mold - the plastic is a little too flexible so you have to press with your fingers to keep each outer prongs from bending. Else works fine

If you're planning on installing a floating floor, these contour gauges are a must have. This gauge allows you to make an accurate template to cut out flooring pieces for around doors and trim. There is a lever to lock or unlock the gauge and an additional tension knob to make the individual pieces move more easily or firm. A needed addition for any home handy man.

I wish I had this when I was cutting some trim to run along the baseboard trim, it would have savedme so much time. Easy to use, just press up against whatever you're trying to trace. Some peoplesay that it's too stiff to move, but I don't really think so. Nice variation in sizes as well.

Works as shown. Comes in a plain box, no directions or use suggestions. If you were looking for this type of item, you know how it works, but if you are gift giving you will want to print off some information.

I ordered this for a small project and I cant believe I have gone this long without one. I love that it locks so you can measure and then take it to the saw for cutting. Plus it is super easy to use and I didnt have any difficulty finishing my project on the first try!

Have one for our home, and gave one as a gift.

I purchased this contour gauge to help me in the upcoming flooring job. I’ve seen others online but they don’t seem to be high quality. This one looked great and was priced right so I decided to give it a try. It was amazing, just press the pins against the piece you want to trace and lock the shape in place, grab a pencil and transfer it onto your workpiece. I love how it came with two sizes, the smaller one can be used in tighter spaces. I find myself using the bigger one more for door frames and it was absolutely amazing! Recommended, it saves you a lot of time and frustration on your next flooring job.

Realmente de muy mala calidad, yo lo voy a devolver porque no cumple con la funcion, al presionarlo sobre los perfiles para sacar el molde, se doblan y no sirve

Lavoro nel Mondo del 3d e succede spesso di dover rilevare forme noiose! Questo è davvero un ottimo strumento e un valido aiuto!! È un po' difficile a volte settarlo e capire quanto stringere la regolazione, ma una volta presa la mano e considerato il costo che ha, e che con quel prezzo ne arrivano 2, di cui uno davvero grande lo straconsiglio
