Haier ESA410K 10,000 BTU 115V Window-Mounted Air Conditioner and MagnaClik Remote with Braille

I am taking this with me when I die. We have had air conditioning issues the past four years. one year I had central heat and air so I got rid of the window units. Then the central air died and I did not have any window units so I have had to buy them here and there and usually used. This is the first time that I have had one that has a remote. That has the automatic feature and it turns itself off when it gets to the temperature you set it for and you can dehumidify the air while cooling.....My electric bill is cheaper than when we were on central heat and air by at least half and over half from the previous window units. Where has this been my whole life? There are a few rooms that stil have the old units in them and I need to replace those as well as add one in my kitchen. The kids rooms need the new air conditioners. I do not know when I can afford to get the extra units so the kids are sleeping in the living room for now, but this is worth having.

I bought this ac two years and one month ago. Last night it burned out. I’ve had ac’ before but they have lasted for more than two years. Not happy it’s this product. Worked well in the beginning.

Has no automatic

Had owned a Haier 5000BTU for almost 4 years, and that unit still worked well. So I bought this 10000btu to upgrade my living room this summer. The 10000BTU one did work good when I first installed it. I can handle the noise, and the AC cooled down my living room pretty fast. However, after about 2 weeks, the AC has generated water in the front and dropped to the floor. And it seemed that the unit cooled down the room slower than before. I am gonna keep using for another a couple of days. If the problems exisit, have to take an exchange or refund.

Great unit, does just as it was advertised to do. I found that is runs quite and is very good at cooling a later than expected area.

I was hesitant about buying this, when I saw the average rating, but confirmed Amazon purchasers have all given it four or five stars, and the price was really good, so I bought it, and I'm glad I did. I waited until we'd had about ten days of highs in the upper 90s to say anything, just to be sure. It works. Really well. And it's not quite as loud as my last 10,000 BTU AC. The one suggestion I have for Haier is to place the screw holes of the top channel assymetrically, so that it could only be attached in the correct direction. I think I got it right. Other than that, the installaton instructions are among the clearest, most easily-followed I've ever read.

I bought this air conditioner because I already have an 8k one that worked great. This is the 10k one and cooled down my 400 sq ft room wonderfully. Other people make this air conditioner out to be noisy it is not any more noisy then the expensive Sharp brand we have at my other house. For the price you cannot beat this with a remote and dehumidifier feature. How many others give you a dehumid setting only? These are also very easy to set up and install.

I have a lower BTU Haier for 5 years, it is still good. I used the old one for my bedroom. Now I purchase this bigger one for my living room, and hope it can cool my kitchen too. So far it meets my expectations.
