The mounting screws that go in the backplate and hold the decorative nuts on the outer housing are too short. For some reason the shining star that designed this decided to use a screw that was the same length as the thickness of the gold housing. that means when you go to install it, the screws sit flush and you cant finish the install. Its a 5 min job that now involves a trip to home depot. This unit also feels cheap.

Overall, this light fixture was perfect for the space that I needed it. I put it in my half bath and it gives off the perfect amount of light. I will say it doesn't feel extremely high quality but you get what you pay for and it does the job. I would definitely recommend especially for the price point.

Good light for the price. The quality of the threads could be improved but for the amount of money you pay it's good. More of a brushed gold than brass colour.
