Koomus Pro Air Universal Smartphone Car Mount for air Vent, Black

Bought this years ago for my wife and still works great. Fits perfectly in vents of my Nissan cars and it holds phone in place however I set it up. When I first bought it I thought the price was on the higher end of what I wanted to spend, but after trying two other cheap vent holders I ended buying a second Koomus holder. I highly recommend this product.

I love this car mount! It works great for my car and seems to be pretty sturdy. I like how little room it takes up, some other mounts are really bulky and impair driving. My phone slips in and out easily and I love that it can be rotated for any angle. It's perfect for navigation and controlling music in the car.Check your car vents before buying, if they are thick or round this most likely won't work for your car.

Since I have a car over 10 years old, I don’t have a navigation system on my dashboard. This small piece of plastic makes it easy to use Waze on my phone and have the screen in sight and not have to look down while driving!

This is the second one we buy - for our second car. We had another model for both cars, but my husband's kept breaking, so he got this one instead and so far it's lasting. I lost my old one last week by accident, so I bought this here instead, and I'm happy with it.It's easy to handle with only one hand, stays firm on the vent, and rotates to adjust according to your preferred position.We recommend it.

The product didn't fit into my air vent due to the grid on my air vent. The grid was too narrow which prevented it from sliding in. It appears you need about .5 inch of width (or height depending on grid style) in order to slide it in. I then thought I'd use it in my other car but it was too heavy and pulled the air vent down (without a phone inserted). I also bought the CD slot holder (because I wasn't sure which I would like) and definitely think that is the better way to go between the 2 products.

I've tried using this with a HTC A9 and a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. It does fit both but does not keep the phones stable (especially the S6 Edge). I use it with the phone in a vertical position. Over time, it seems to keep tilting downward on it's own from the weight of the phone.The portion that is clipped into the air vent takes up quite a bit of space and bends the vents a bit in both of my cars. It doesn't look like it bends enough to cause any damage, but it does flex the vents.Overall, it works well enough, but is not as stable as the Koomus CD slot version that I also own.

I have bought this product a couple times over the past 4 years. It is very sturdy, moves in any direction and stays where you put it. I've even bought one for a friend as a gift because it works so well! I love this product!

For about a month, this worked great and the phone did not sag when in the holder. Then, the clip began coming off and every time I tried to re-attach it, the hold was not secure and the phone sagged and the clip came out.I have returned this to Amazon as it is a useless product.
