The reel was not good
This weight on this rod is pretty good but I used it once and the reel broke so my personal statement is that you should buy a different rod but I would say that it's okay for it's value

Totally useless
I bought this fishing rod for my son. However I'm bitterly disappointed as the reel string was corroded and kept snapping off and he lost so many hooks. We got the string replaced by a professional but the reel just stopped working. It is a total waste of money. I wouldn't recommend this product. Very unhappy
