I love the personal alarms. I got one for myself, my daughter and my grand-daughter. They aren't big and bulking. The alarm is very loud which is exactly what I wanted. They look like keychains so they don't stand out. Great purchase for the money!

There is a pin that you can pull that sounds the alarm. It is very loud. Gave it to grandma for her birthday. You never know. She was impressed. Going to give one to my daughter who is going away to college also.

Got these cause some guy was following the women at my job to their cars and bus stops all day and night and the police said they couldn't do anything about it because he technically wasn't breaking any laws (being a weirdo creep man should be illegal but maybe im too ahead of my time) and I'm always exhausted on my walk to the bus stop after work so I fear I wouldn't be able to fight back if anything happened (and my job has no cameras outside! super cool!). They're super cute and don't outwardly look like any kind of security device, and they don't require training like nearly all other self defense devices nor do you risk blinding yourself with pepper spray. Great price for 3 of these, so I gave the other two to my friends and the colors kind of match us as a group so I was geeked. Batteries ARE included already, just make sure you remove the clear strip hanging out of the device before using otherwise it won't work.Also, test it! Not just to make sure it works and to get used to the process of removing the pin and replacing it, but also to know what it sounds like. Because I did not test mine first, and I was in for a moment of extreme panic when I set the grocery bags filling my arms down on the floor at home just to suddenly hear a loud shrill noise and be unable to figure out what it was. I thought someone broke into my home and installed a security device specifically to trick me or something. It was the alarm, so it works great and definitely makes people panic! But it also played for like two whole minutes while I ran around scared out of my mind that maybe I broke into a house that looked identical to mine and had all my furniture and unlocked with my key but wasn't mine at all. Great product, keep yourselves safe!

All right, let's be honest. It's a personal alarm. You pull the trigger it beep beep beeps. All as expected. It's nice that they're super cute and I use these as part of a gift for some volunteers I work with to let them pick and choose from different safety alarm options.The fact that it's an animal rescue makes the cute little face all the better.

I bought this for my wife to keep on her while out as an additional safety measure (the other being some mace). While I hope she'll never have to use it, I feel it's better to be prepared and have the tools when needed. This little alarm is small and cute and fits will with the rest of the stuff on her keychain. The alarm is easy to use, and with a pull, emits a loud alarm, definitely loud enough to attract attention.

I tested this out just to see how loud it is and I’m not disappointed. It does the job well! Sometimes we could be in a situation where we are so stunned and forget to scream loud enough for help that this little gadget will do the job during those critical moments.

I gifted one of these to my best friend and my mom, while keeping the other for myself. They are SO CUTE!!! I will say, my cats surely did not appreciate the noise that came from it, haha! They are extremely loud and the flashlight is really bright.

This alarm is very loud and would definitely deter anyone with ill intent, the only issue is that the pin has a loop attached to it which easily gets caught on things and activates it, and the pin is very small and hard to find if it drops, making it hard to shut the alarm back off.

We had a tenant who was threatening us so I ordered theses for myself and some fellow tenants for safety but to leave it inconspicuous as to what it was. I pulled out the the tab and omg is it ever LOUD. Thankfully that tenant has moved out but leaving it on my keys in the event they decide to come back. You can’t be too safe. It’s also got a little light on it and it’s super cute as a kitty.
