Nintendo 3DS - Flame Red (Renewed)

Came out in great shape - everything works! The only issue i have is that it's hard to pull the stylus out but so far i am a happy customer!

Great buy! It came with a few scratches, but it doesn't obstruct my view on the top screen so it doesn't bother me. Everything works as it should! I don't think the charger is the original tho, it feels to plastic unlike the ds lite version. Also so glad it's fully red and doesn't have the black flame on it

My son ordered the flame red 3DS and received a rose pink colored 3DS. It was also sent with the wrong charger, so we had to purchase the correct one. Thankfully it works fine, since I read other reviews that the devices didn’t work well my son decided to keep it and cover it with stickers.

The case is the right color and appears pristine. The screens both appear to work perfectly. It came with a stylus and a power adapter, but was missing the memory card, which meant I couldn't play Pokemon Omega Ruby, although it booted up fine, just wouldn't let me play.So, I used my mad Amazon skillz and bought a Sandisk 32 GB card (that's apparently the most the 3DS can handle without doing some formatting voodoo on a PC, and I have a macbook).Once I popped that in, all the 3DS cartridges work wonderfully, although the whopping 3 day wait for the memory card was painful!So March 2023 Nintendo closed down their eshop for DS and Wii, I don't know if this is related to the reason for my 4-Star review or not, but here we go.I cannot play DS cartridges in my 3DS. They show up, then I get a generic error message. Per the internet, if the store is set to a different region, there can be trouble? (No idea why this would hit the DS cartridges in particular). When I try to open the store, I get a different error message, which means I'm locked out of the eshop and thereby haven't been able to use DS games on here, which is disappointing. I saw Japanese (maybe Chinese) characters on the bottom of the case, so it's possible since I'm USA, I got region locked from that direction...though if that's the case, I feel like that's something that should be disclosed.For anyone curious, I also bought a DS Lite after realizing it was my only way to play a couple of the games I wanted (Mario, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon earlier versions) and the games cartridges are working fine on that, so the issue is with this device.So, long review short, I'm not unhappy with the device since it performs its main function...but I got the 3DS to AVOID getting yet another gaming device so I'm a bit annoyed it wouldn't work, and more annoyed that I don't know for certain WHY it won't work.I don't have any desire to jailbreak the unit, so most of the YouTube videos I checked were no help to me.

Pretty good, I really like the gradient on the top of it. Used to have one for years when I was a kid so nice to have, I have the 500 in 1 game disc coming tomorrow so I’m pretty hype

Not flame red… I thought this was supposed to be the metallic red all the way… instead it looks like a red that someone spray painted a straight line of black thru… I almost want to return it just cause the color is so wrong….Also can’t stand the white rings around the cameras… on the real flame red 3ds those white rings aren’t there. It’s almost perfect Condition well packed, the color just made me mad tho.

One of the best purchases I made.
