Evan cooler filter
Just what we needed for our swamp cooler. I did have to cut to fit for our cooler, had some waste but this was less expensive then buying the filters to fit. For me this was the way to go.

Great product!
I couldn’t find precut Dura-cool pads for my cooler so I bought this roll. The product is great, was able to get all four pads and enough for 3 more for next year. I notice a huge difference from the old style, I call them hay style pads, cools down the house fast. Hope this helps.

Not Recommended
I cannot recommend this product. We were in the Fire / Smoke zone for about 45 days and our old filters were almost black from the smoke. When I went to replace them I figured that I would try this product. Prior to this, I always went with the tried and true straw filters.Installation was exactly as expected. However when we turned on the cooler, it did work, but not a efficiently as the straw. Our winds are currently out of the Northwest and are very dry, about 15% humidity, which should make the system work the best. With straw, we were always 15 to 20 degrees below ambient. But with this, the best we can achieve is 5 to 10 degrees below ambient.Since we are coming up to the end of October, I will leave them in for the remainder of the season, but come next Spring, I will be replacing them with straw. Some time you should just stick with what is Tried and True.I am not sure why the performance is so poor but I think, and this is just my guess, but the synthetic material does not absorb water like the straw material does.I would think that the rate of evaporation is the same between the two and so it must come back to the material.I think that the wet straw is also cooled and those pads contribute to the overall cooling. Cool pads cool the air and the evaporation cools it even more.Like I said, that is my take.

Swamp Cooler Pad
I live an hour and a half away from any city that carries pads. This one stays clean, is easy to install, and wonderful to receive in the mail.

Very good cooler pad
Holds water well & evenly distributes. Downside: Size All sizes available require wasting a lot of padding. No 30 inch options

the 36 width
this is a very good product great for what i needed

Way too thin
I had to double it up, which kind of makes it more expensive than the thicker pads. With only one piece, I was getting splashing into the water reservoir, which in turn, made water droplets come out of the unit and onto the floor.
