I liked the hat it fit as expected but disappointed it didn't come with its box

This is a well made, unusual looking hat...well ventilated and very comfortable. The lining is beautiful and it comes in a really cool hat box. I normally wear a 7 1/4 or 7 3/8 and this hat fit more like a 7 1/2. Easily remedied with two small pieces of foam rubber cut from the stuff they use to insulate around a window air conditioner...got it at Marvins (like Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) The leather band inside the hat is about 2" wide, so I put one piece about 1.5" long on either side of the size label in the back of the hat about 2" apart and it fits perfectly. The material I used is about 1.25" wide and comes in strips about a foot long...it is much like memory foam, so conforms to your head nicely without putting pressure points in unwanted places. Since almost all hats shrink with age, better a bit large than a snug fit. You can wear it as a Pork Pie or turn down the front like a Fedora.

Very nice hat. Great weave and pattern. Slightly large.
