A replacement to Nespresso?
I bought these for my Krups Nespresso machine. Overall I am very pleased. The flavours are pleasant, not as powerful/intense as Nespresso, but then those were at times quite overpowering. The pods are of similar dimension, although because they are not metal are not as slick to load. I have found that a touch of water around the sides of the pod adds a little lubricant, easing the process. Not being metal, the puncture holes seem to be a little larger allowing some of the coffee grit through. This is not a problem with the cup of coffee it produces, just more noticable when you look at the used-pods and water drain. I havent had these in my compost bin long enough to see if they are compostable! I bought the variety set, All were sensible flavours, I will buy again.

20p-ish a coffee 👍
Some of the cheapest compostable pods I've found and are pretty good. There is one flavour I actively don't really like but otherwise all very good.

Tastes like packaging
Edit: putting from 1 to 3, maybe in part because I have started to get used to the flavour. I still wouldn't order it again.*****I had to go and read the packaging to make sure I was using my Nespresso machine correctly for these, because I genuinely cannot believe the reviews others have left, other than one German chap.I would recommend that instead of buying these, you buy literally anything else. These must be the worst pods I have bought to date. I'm sure the coffee itself is probably fine, but I cannot enjoy it at all, for the sake of the overpowering recyclable packaging flavour. I've tried a few different things, but I just cannot avoid that flavour. If you make a ristretto shot, you are just drinking hot water. If you have an espresso shot, it is stronger, but just not a pleasant taste. If someone can explain how they are making this delicious coffee please do let me know.I saw someone compare these to the Nespresso capsules. They are absolutely nothing like the Nespresso capsules, which are beautiful (but expensive). I pretty much bought these for simple disposal, to save me cleaning out the aluminium pods for recycling (because you guys know you can recycle those things right...?), but if they taste like this then what's the point. I'll go back to scraping and washing the pods.

Disappointing taste
I had a recommendation about Sendero coffee from someone who drinks it at a cafe in London and I liked that it was compostable and fair trade. However I did not like the taste at all. Ugandan and Mexican were best but still poor compared to Amazon’s Solimo Espresso (which I find palatable). The rest were almost undrinkable to me with earthy coarse tastes.I really tried to like them but am relieved now I have nearly finished the pack. The person who recommended it to us subsequently said that the pods don’t taste nearly as good as the Sendero product served in Cafes.

Nice coffee but price bow too higg
Have bought these pods quite a few times in the past. Good flavour and nice that they are compostable. However, since my last purchase the prices has gone up by over 25% so I won't be buying any more.

Best Capsules Ever!
Best pods I've ever bought.Exactly what I was looking for!!I was sick of cleaning pods to make them recyclable and other compostable ones I tried before didn’t taste good at all. These pods are great! Suuuper creamy, Loving the aftertaste after every sip.I wasn't sure how long to run them on the nespresso machine but the back of the pack had the correct measurements!! Now I keep it short and sweet for a better taste! Perfect, thanks Sendero!!I was so happy to see that the capsules are compatible with the original nespresso because I have one of the older ones and some capsules I've bought before haven't worked in it.Hassle free, great tasting pods! Love that I can just throw them in the food waste bin without worrying. Always look forward to my morning coffees!!

It has it all
I usually go for dark 5* roast but I love all the coffees in this selection, so moreish. It’s ethically sourced, the pods and all the packaging is green, it has it all!

Give it a try!
Not a bad substitute for nespresso. There are a Variety of flavours including decaf. Taste is not too bad. Love what the company stands for and how they support coffee farmers abroad.
