I was very hopeful and excited when I ordered this. Unfortunately, after only a few months the transmitter box isn't working anymore. We have tried to restart it and reroute the wires. No luck. Im very disappointed because we paid so much money for this unit.Edit: I contacted customer service and they were very quick to respond and sent me a new transmitter box right away!

This is a wonderful multi purpose dog tool. It can be used as both a remote training collar and a auto dog fence. It comes with 492 feet of high quality polyolefin fence cable which was more than enough for my needs. The cable is very flexible and works well for making custom made borders. The collar and remote control are rechargeable; I am getting about 2 days out of my collar in training mode and about a week in fence mode before needing to recharge. The remote's battery lasts for over a week before needing recharging and is very easy to use. You can buy additional collars that can paired with the single remote, and you can use as many collars as you want to within the fence ( so it is quite versatile if you have multiple dogs). I have a black lab that I am using this on and it has worked great. She can roam around the yard and I don't have to worry about her leaving. This product saved me from having to get a wooden fence put up, well worth it.

I had some reservations about doing this but so far its been working. After about a week the dogs have started to learn there boundries, even without the collars on. It was easy to set up and install. We had it done from start to finish in a few hours. We didnt bury the wire, but ran in along the yard/curb and used garden spikes to hold in place.**we wanted try and use the collars w/o the shock. Our girls were getting it but still needed a little more reinforcement but didn't want to use the shock. I emailed the company and got a quick response that I just needed to switch out the metal prongs for the plastic ones. Unfortunately, I think I threw the box, with plastics away. The company immediately offered to send replacements for both of my collars. Awesome customer service

Ran this thru a fence under ground and the dogs tried to dig near the fence and quickly realized it was not a good idea.

I had some issues setting up the system and pairing collars (operator error). Within minutes after emailing my concerns to the service desk I received a return phone call. Although I had clearly made a mistake during programming, the operator was very friendly and patient while walking me through the process. After my one-on-one training my collars and system were working perfectly. I so appreciate excellent customer service.

We bought this system because my very energetic new puppy would easily bound over my garden fence and eat any plant that was available to her. She very quickly learned with this system that she was not allowed into the garden. It was easy to install, gave plenty of wire for a very long boundary, and has worked for us for flawlessly.After a year, we purchased a second collar and was able to pair it to the same controller that came with this system. The one thing I would suggest is a closer look at the video for pairing the second collar. I was stuck on the instructions until I called customer service. To pair the second collar, the antenna of the controller has to be touching the collar, or extremely close. Customer service was very helpful immediately, so that's the smallest of critiques.I would definitely recommend this sytem.

Earlier submitted a review that was very graphic on what I thought of the product that is did not work well. At this point I am amending this review. I had earlier stated that this product was flimsy and poorly made. Toggles coming loose when attempting to attach the wires. I emailed the company and promptly heard back where they offered me a replacement transmitter box and help with pairing the dollars with the hand held remote. I will upgrade the review as I see the replacement transmitter and see if it is any better than the first. The prompt customer service response had raised it up 2 more stars.

My return window closed unfortunately or I would return this extra collar I purchased. The one that came with my system works great. This extra collar does not work great. Its shotty in spots in the yard where the other collar works great. It took us awhile to get the fence set up or we would have known it wasn't working very well. Now I will have to purchase another because we have the system and I like the system and the collar that actually works well.
