a bit expensive but its good food i have a pug and a aukbashe they need good healthy food and so far its working well

I’ve been buying this brand for my 6yr old dog since day 1 of finding her. No issue. However I recently found a puppy and decided to get him on the same food but the puppy version. This is food is much more expensive bc of the freeze dried chunks. However the puppy food advertises that it has them but does not. The puppy food is also more expensive than the adult dog food bc it comes with less. We will be switching brands for both dogs as this error represents in parallel with cheaper packaging and higher prices over the years. The packaging used to reseal.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Healthier option for my dogs food. Love this company and the ingredients they choose to include in their dog food. My little guy loves the taste of the freeze dried pieces too. Can usually get a big bag for a good price on subscribe and save.

I’ve given Merrick healthy grains to my dog for a long time and he always loved it, but switched to the back country raw about a year ago just for a little change up. Contrary to a lot of other reviews I’ve read, there’s always several chunks of the freeze dried in every bag and the kibble is clearly coated in the crushed up pieces of the freeze dried raw. My dog is a 8 year olds and he’s still got all the energy he had as a puppy. His vet checks are good and his coat is beautiful. He goes NUTTTTS when it’s meal time for this and licks his bowl for several minutes after it’s gone

I have a 2 year old female Siberian Husky. This was the first time I saw her crazy with a bag of food. When I opened the bag, imagine a girl who ate more than I always ate.

My picky eater is gobbling this down. I add a litttle warm water and it’s gone in o time!
