4 oz is enough for most small dipping bowls, but 6 oz is more versatile. perfect for dipping sauce and wide enough for a buffalo wing. they work great for food prep as well. the bottoms are unfinished where they sit on the table, but seem fairly smooth. if you use it on a scratchable surface, i would use something under it, but basic surfaces won't be an issue.

We have 4 cats & needed something better than the cheap plastic dipping dishes we were using for their wet food. I wanted to get away from plastic & they usually don't like their wet food in the stainless steel bowls. When I saw a few of the reviews mentioned that these dishes were being used for exactly what I needed, I bought them immediately! And I'm not disappointed! They are sturdy enough so they won't be knocked over & I love that they are different colors! It helps me remember which dish goes to each cat as their are preferences, diety restrictions & occasionally medications that I need to mix in. They are so cute I'm gonna order another set for us humans to use! Highly recommend 😺

These definitely feel like a bit of a level up from putting your sauces in random bowls/containers or just on one side of your plate to try and dip whatever into. And thankfully this came as a set of 5, because once someone lost one of them, bam! I have another to just pull out and use.

Heavy. Well made. Has survived multiple washings in the dishwasher without issues. Great vibrant colors. Work great with fiesta ware. Perfect size for dips, salsa and fry sauce.

Finding and ordering these dipping bowls were extremely easy on Amazon, and I love the colors that are available. They also were delivered very quickly, so I didn't have to wait long to start using them. They have a nice weight to them when you use them so I don't worry about them tipping over when using them. Also, they are microwave safe, so they are great for melting butter or warming up food. Overall, I really love these and am very happy that I received them.

These are my favorite things to use. I use these to put ranch, ketchup, any type of sauce. I sometimes cut up my apples & place them in here. I put my oreos in this so I can munch on when I don't want to use a plate. I even use one of these to store my coins in near my door. It's cute & useful for me.
