Sizing was easy- use a fabric tape measure.
Love the harnesses! We have 3. Quality is excellent. Had one repaired( stitching). Can't wait for the snow!! We do bikejorning and sled pulling with these harnesses!

Amazing!
One of the best harnesses and I'm so glad I got this. It's worth every penny the only thing I'll say is it is a bit loose since I got a large when I meant medium lol but highly recommend!

Small is still a little big
This is the smallest x-back style harness I could find to fit my 30-pound Shetland Sheepdog. It's still a bit too big in its smallest configuration but overall, works well with a long line for herding practice. I was able to take up some additional slack by pushing two straps backward through the existing adjustable clips and it's holding solidly so far.

Great for joring
I’ve got a husky who only acts right when he’s exercised. He's a pretty beefy boy and the ability to adjust the size is nice since he’s a good 10-15 pounds heavier in the winter. I use rollerblades in the summer and cross country skis in the winter. I have pretty good control while on roller blades and it’s comfortable enough for him to pull at full power.

Great for more than just a sled dog!
My daughter bought this for our Brittany who pulls her on her skateboard and both she and the dog love it! The harness help to distribute the contact points and our pup seem to be more comfortable pulling and running in it. Since he isn't always pulling against it like a sled dog would, it does get looser when she rides beside him compared to behind, but both have adjusted and it works great for them.

Recommendation?
This arrived today. Medium fits my slim girl like a charm and she seems more comfortable in it then the other versions we’ve been using. However the tug line fell loose before we even left the house on a walk. If that happened on a joring run, my husky would be long gone. Any recommendations tying it back on securely?

Fits well
Other harnesses seem to hit the dog's throat but this works great for pulling.

Is nice but not great
After reading reviews and positive comments on it I was excited to purchase for my 60lbs beginner sled dog. I like the overall product, the color, the adjustments, and I believe it will function alright. But there were two defects in the design which I can alter but is very annoying. The one strap in the back Is twisted and because I don’t want it to rub and cut into her as she pulls, I’ll have to fix it by cutting it and resew it. The padding underneath is also bunched up and feels a bit uncomfortable, I’m hoping that with enough wear and keeping pressure on it that it will flatten out. Over all I like the designs and the adjustments and it would fit comfortable on my girl if not for the defects. I’m hoping I’ll be able to fix it, and I may consider purchasing another one but not if defects are common. If anyone else knows any company’s or products they recommend please let me know.

good adjustable harness for large stocky dogs
I have a large sized bernese mountain dog (currently 90 pounds and growing), and this harness fits him well and still has lots of room to adjust and increase in size as he grows. We got the size Large based on the size chart dimension info that was contained hidden in one of the product question and answers (answer provided by supplier) -the product description most definitely needs to be updated to include this vital information in order for consumers to make an informed decision. This is a great value for this versatile product, especially when comparing to the prices of other custom made/sized products that cost as lot more! I have purchased other custom harnesses in the past for my other dogs and I doubt I will be doing that again unless there is a very specific need. The only improvement and hence reason for a 4 star review versus 5 for this product is because the reflective material could be greatly increased on this harness. the limited few pieces of reflective tape do not provide additional night time visible aid which would be appreciated during the dark winter months with short daylight hours. Or having a small loop for hanging a light would be a good improvement.

Fantastic for any pulling activity with your dog
Got this for my 50+ lbs dalmation, we go cycling, skatejoring, and snowskating in the winter, and this is so far the best pulling harness I've gotten for the price. That said, use your dog's measure to get one, rather than weight. Dalmations for example are bulky, and at 50+ lbs the medium seems to be the right size, but it is not! The small one fits her way better and keeps her safe.

Overall Affordable Uograde
My Samoyed is about 50 lbs. I got the medium and it runs big on her. I'll probably need to buy a small. Amazing difference compared to regular harnesses for Canicross and preparing for Skijouring.
