Welcome to 2023!! Finally an age appropriate book that talks about love!!

This book is so sweet, the line “then we’ll change how it’s done” in response to being told that’s not the way it’s always been done was right on the nose! I love this book and so does the kiddo :)

When I saw this on a list of banned books, I was intrigued enough to purchase it for the "hope chest" of kids' books I keep for (HOPEFULLY!!!) someday when I have a grandchild. I'm so glad I got this! It's such a sweet story about two worms in love who have lots of supportive friends. I wish that everyone could feel as accepted and encouraged as these two worms. I'm sad that some adults don't want kids to read this beautiful book, but I'm glad that my grandchildren will!!

This book is so sweet and explains love in a simple way to children. If you want to read the whole book before buying, there’s a video on tiktok of someone reading it. I cannot wait to gift this to my nephew !

This book is exactly what we needed to explain different kinds of relationships to our four-year-old. It boils marriage down to the most important parts and leaves everything else up to the couple getting married... and in this case making those parts mostly irrelevant, which is awesome. This is a must-have for any parent who's child is beginning to ask questions about why many couples don't fit the exact mold of their own parents.

This is a really sweet book about following your own path and doing what's right for you regardless of traditions and society's expectations. Plus, it's all about worms and bugs, which my kid loves. It's a really sweet way of conveying the message that gender rules don't have to be rigid and that it's okay to be just how you are without being heavy-handed or overly sentimental. I think it's a great book for teaching tolerance and acceptance and thinking outside the box.

Genuinely I can't find another book like this that addresses and questions societal constructs in such a developmentally appropriate way.

As fathers of a 2-year-old child, my husband and I enthusiastically purchased Worm to Worm and are very happy we did so. It's not easy finding stories that aren't geared toward a mom and a dad - and while we have plenty of those, it's nice to have another book that's a little more reflective of our family. Worm to Worm is not political and it is not sexual (although if you read some of the perverse and perverted reviews here, you might be inclined to think so). It is a celebration of love and unity, the kind that everyone should be as fortunate to experience as Sammy's daddies. Thank you J. J. Austrian!

This book is amazing because it breaks gender stereotypes and also tackles the stigma around LGBT+ marriage. It also leaves children with the message that although something has always been done a certain way doesn't mean it needs to continue that way. It teaches that all of the trivial stuff doesn't matter because in the end, it's love that matters. Would 100% recommend this book. I'll be reading it to my children, as well as at our library during Pride Month. :)

Very simply written and a little silly with a great message that love is all that matters! My 4 year old loves it!
