I purchased my hair in April and was able to wear my Marley twists for a month and a half. I loved the texture, it made twisting easy. Yes, it did have a smell, but that’s with any hair you buy at beauty supply store. It smelled great after I washed/conditioned it. Definitely came through for me during the pandemic when the local beauty supply store was closed.

This hair is great! I wash it in non scented dish soap and moisten with do grow tea tree oil/water before adding to my hair. My favorite part is that it’s so lightweight because nothing is worse than stressing your roots and neck with heavy hair! I have a TWA so this will def by my choice of protective styling while my hair grows out. UPDATE: I am allergic to this hair and can no longer use it. I'm not sure if it's the brand or kanekalon but it sucks cause I liked everything else about it.

I purchased the hair for marley twists. The texture of the hair was comparable to my hair texture (i.e. 4C) when stretched. The hair is soft which is great for the flexibility of the breads, but the hair requires more manipulation when twist/braid. One order (six packs) is not enough for your full head. Be cautious and order place two orders (12 packs). The smell was HORRIBLE, one viewer accurately described it as a "dirty sock smell". However, a quick dip and rinse removed the smell quickly. I hung the hair in my bathroom to air dry. It an afternoon to dry. Overall, the hair looks and feels real. I did not give 5 stars because of the smell and the extra work and time associated with removing the smell prior to installation.

Love this hair... it’s lightweight, cheap, easy to install, and more than enough hair to complete any style. Slight odor but nothing too offensive... can be easily masked with hair oils/sprays. Fast delivery... comes with crochet hook and hair accessories.

Terrible horrible would never buy again quality was bad stink and it had all type of stuff in it waste of money waste of time I threw the whole pack away

I ordered this hair to do twists, and was under a confined amount of time so I didn’t have time to send it back or go somewhere to get more. It was very neatly packaged, but when I opened up an individual pack of hair, the hair had a smell that I can not describe. It most definitely didn’t smell clean, and sort of smelled like chemicals. I figured I could wash it, and see what happened. So I had to do a very very deep wash on the hair, and the water that ran off was dark brown. I rinsed it until the water ran clean, and the hair smelled fine after that but that was very unsettling. I’ve never had that happen to me before when buying any sort of hair like this. Also, the ends tangle quite easily. I made it work, but you lose a lot of hair at the end trying to rip it apart. My twists came out great, but it’s not the best hair I’ve ever used.

I got my hair done June 12th and here it is approaching 3 months (Sep 12)...my actual hair had grown out alil and the twists I have in have started looking alil unkept but they look even better than when they were freshly done (see pics & video). They aren't heavy until you get them wet, but I just squeeze the water out like a rag and let it drip and air dry. I wash them about every 3 weeks, especially at the roots and at the sight where it holds the hair because of sweat and my natural body oils built up. Not really hot on the area of the body where it covers (neck) only when in bunched together with a scrunchie on the ends.

I haven't started my hair yet but I will soon. Its pre-stranded and easy to separate. I looped a bundle ( you get 6!!! ) individually on a hanger. If you find that the hair has a peculiar smell, either wash it ( if you want ) or simply let it air out ( which I did ) Cant wait to style my hair!!!

Words could not describe how disappointed I am. When I first bought the product a few months ago, it was perfect, there were so many hair I even had leftovers. So I decided to order again, only to discover the quantity was decreased by half for the same price… very disappointing.

I did not like this , the quality was not what I was expecting, it was too much work just to get it prepped, definitely not DIY frindly
