Rack-A-Tiers V-Cutter NMSC & NM Cable Stripper attachment (47010)

Game changer and so easy to use! Put this on my Crocs strippers and they work well for both smaller romex and bigger romex (SEU/SER). So well that co-workers will ask to borrow them all the time when tying in panels to save time & I have to go retrieve them to make sure I get them back…lol. Now they don’t work on UF, so don’t get too crazy. The best method I’ve found for UF is using a knife (my Spiderco Para 2 in S30V works much better than a razor knife. Better steel & geometry) to cut along the ground about 3-4 inches then taking 2 pair of lineman pliers & pulling apart to desired length, then pull out the ground and slightly score the outer jacket of the hot & neutral, take your lineman’s just below your score and twist to break the score then twist and pull the outer jacket off. Minimizes cuts to your hands, shorts from going through the insulation exposing copper on the hot/neutral & getting yelled at by your foreman because he’s gotta go trace down a short. You’re welcome noobs.

Stellar product. Such a big help for when people don’t strip the wire before stuffing the box. I’ll buy this again in a heartbeat.

This works great stripping Romex! First time wiring 200 amp panel as DYI for residential running all new on small new home. Not worried about cutting into wires with knife and can strip all 6/3 to 14/2 no issue good product!

I like not having to carry an extra tool in the attic. This is my second order. The blade fell out and lost somewhere on the first one.

A great time saving addition to your “Gator” wire strippers to slit the jacket on NMC (Romex) cables. [Some filing may be necessary to properly fit on some versions of ‘Klein-Curve’ strippers.]

Doesn't fit any of my strippers.

Disappointed that it doesn't fit Klein Strippers considering Klein is one of the more popular brands trusted by electricians. Seems like they work well just using it by hand, but like another review says, get ready to file to make it fit properly unless you order their croc strippers.

Rack-a-tier bolt on wire strippers for removing the paper and plastic off of Romex wiring is and excellent idea. Improves the Croc stripper to be much more versatile.

Handy if you do lots of residential

This works just like the video. Unfortunately it did not fit on my favourite klein strippers but it does fit on another pair of klein strippers I had.

I wish I bought those sooner..

Works like it says. Edges are a little sharp otherwise it’s 5 stars

Had to send it back. Unfortunately, I wanted to integrate with my Klein wire strippers but I couldn’t get it to fit properly. I had hoped that it might fit but it’s designed for the rac a tiers strippers only.
