I have a deep carpet in my office room (WFH) and my existing computer chair was difficult to move on it and causing deep indents. Never knew a solution existed until I realised my spouse was avoiding using the computer desk because of this issue. Went through a lot of reviews that highlighted features/weaknesses to watch out for in a computer chair matMy experience with this mat has been perfect!The mat arrived flat, is made of quite a stiff material which ensures that the weight is distributed over a wide area and the mat does not slip at all. My chair glides on this mat as well. Even if a set of wheels goes over the edge while moving around, it does not hamper movement in any way to come back to the original spot near the desk.Great product! Highly recommended.

I bought this back in 2021 when I moved into my new house and it's only recently cracked and broken - considering I almost live in my office it's done pretty well to survive this long. I'm just over 100kg and I sit on a heavy chair too, so it's a pretty heavy duty mat.It did move around a little bit, but I've not found one that stays put yet and adjusting it every couple of days wasn't too much of an issue.Overall a pretty decent product.

This is a second purchase for an additional office space in my home. The first purchase was 18 months ago and I do not regret it one bit. It is a thick and very solid mat. Office chairs glide over it with ease.From experience it does NOT curl up at the edges with use as can occur with cheaper more flimsy mats. So if used in an area with passing foot traffic it does not present a trip hazard which is very important to me.My first purchase was delivered unrolled which is a lot easier. This time it was rolled which I would say is the only negative as it is a thick and very stiff mat. I recommend leaving the rolled mat in its box indoors perhaps close to a radiator but not touching it for 24 hours. Then with the assistance of another person gently unroll the mat, you definitely need two of you. Follow the instructions and leave it unrolled and weighted for 2 to 3 days before use.I see my mats providing many years of excellent service so even with this extra work before use it is still worth it and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others.

The mat is shipped flat, so there is no need to worry about flattening it. It was out of the box and under my desk chair in a few minutes. The chair rows much easier on the mat. The small pins on the bottom keep it place. I have had no issue with any movement of the mat. The mat deforms very slightly from the weight of the wheels on the mat, but returns to normal as soon s the chair is moved to another location. I have only been using it for a couple of days, but it feels like it will last and do the job protecting my carpet.Update 29 Dec 2021: After using the mat for a while, it does in fact tend to move forward over time. Overall, I am still happy with it.

It's okay, but expect to replace it within a couple of years. Mine has been used for around 10 days per month and now needs replacing for two reasons; it's cracking in places, and the plastic has indented which makes it difficult to move the wheels on my chair. I'm a small framed woman, so don't think my user experience is anything out of the ordinary.In summary, good for a quick fix, but I'll look for something better quality this time 'round.

Bought this Floor Protector, mostly to protect the carpet and to be easier to move my chair. With carpet not so easy the movement with the chair.I have an old one, softer that keeps moving from the original position. This one stay very firmly in its position.Happy with the buy.

Really hard plastic, very difficult to unroll, spikes are very hard and sharp - literally dangerous, would make a good trap if laid wrong way up. Needed thick gardening gloves to protect hands and left it weighted all over overnight to get moderately flat. Hopefully it will flatten out more with time. I have had other versions of these mats with none of these issues

Thick and sturdy, but does tend to curl. Highly recommending compressing them as much as possible before putting them to use.
