I absolutely love this Aveeno body oil,it's lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy at all. The moisture lasts all day ,and my skin looks smooth, soft,and naturally glowing. I especially love using it right after a shower,my skin drinks it up instantly. It has gentle, pleasant scent that isn't overpowering, and it works great. If you want Hydration without any heaviness, this is definitely the perfect body oil.Highly recommend.

I have sensitive skin and am very picky about lotions. I use this oil from had to toe. My face doesn't break out from it. I don't get the gritty feeling after the moisture absorbs and the remaining product (thickeners) are left being l behind. I also have extremely dry skin from health issues. This oil lotion really leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated! It's also half the price of most lotions! Natural smells are very pleasant. Has an oily appearance when first applied but quickly absorbed. No added colors.

Oh my goodness!! Where have you been all my life?!! This Aveeno dry body oil has literally transformed my skin. My skin usually gets dry this time of year and it hurts, it’s flaky and itchy. I bought this and from day 1 my skin is SO soft and moisturized. The product soaks in nicely and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy, doesn’t leave anything on my clothes. This is truly a game changer bc not 1 lotion (that I’ve literally spent a fortune on) has come close to what this oil does for my skin. The smell is light and very lovely. It just smells fresh and clean. My skin has just stayed soft and glowy since the first day. I shower almost everyday and even the days in between my skin is still soft. It’s not like the shower oil that you use on wet skin. You dry off and then use it like you would lotion. Let it soak in for a few minutes before putting on your clothes and you are good to go. Just such a wonderful product.

I really like the way this oil feels on my skin. It’s very moisturizing and my skin feels softer after using it just a few days. I also like the scent. However, after the first few sprays it becomes difficult to spray. It’s difficult because you smooth it into your skin as you are spraying, your hands are slippery and it seems to get clogged and not spray out as well. I will keep and continue to use oil, but I may need to pour it out instead of using spray. I wanted the spray as an easy and quick way to moisturize after shower.

I love this stuff! Have a condition that I will now forever have dry skin. I apply after shower (remember safety 1st!) and it actually keeps my skin from flaking. Literally the only product that has worked. Doesn't smell like baby oil either. As a woman I enjoy the fragrance albeit very subtle but just a heads up for men that there is a fragrance and you may find it feminine. It goes away within an hour though. I apply a lot from should to feet and for everything to be absorbed I'd say 5 minutes to be safe before getting dressed but I use A LOT. It does absorb well. This is the best quality product I've found for my dry skin. Sprays on evenly and consistently. Highly recommend even though I really want to keep this product a secret so it never runs out!

I tend to get very dry skin in the winter so this has helped with feeling moisturized. To me it is not sticky if you put a moderate layer. So if you are not heavy handed it will not transfer either. I like to stack it with a body butter to like in extra moisture! Very good product and smells nice and light!

I rated this as a 3-star product because it’s an oil that you can use on your body. However I do not recommend it for reasons specified below. Regarding the spray nozzle, I found it to be useless. Once I got oil on my hands, the only way I could use the spray nozzle was to leverage the bottle against the bathroom counter. If I held the bottle in one hand and attempted to use the pump, it slipped out of the my hands. Very annoying. Putting oil in a spray bottle is ineffective. I replaced the spray nozzle with a different cap. However, my biggest problems with this product involve questionable ingredients and deceptive marketing. The product page states “Powered by oat and jojoba oil”. I have no idea what “powered by” is supposed to mean but the first ingredient is soybean oil. Soybean oil isn’t mentioned in the marketing. In fact, “soy” appears only once on the product page, in the ingredients list. Soy is a controversial ingredient in foods and this is the first time I’ve encountered it in a beauty product. Given that some people avoid products containing soy (myself included), and since soybean oil is the first ingredient in this product, the marketing should state its presence in the product. A bit of research involving the best oils for skin reveals that soybean oil, although acceptable and widely used due to the fact that it inexpensive, is not the best. Given the inexpensive price of this product, I suspect it’s mostly soybean oil. If you are concerned with products made with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), be aware that soy is commonly a GMO and consequently, so is soybean oil (as are canola, corn and cottonseed oils). Jojoba is excellent for your skin. 100% pure jojoba and 100% pure avena sativa kernel oil (oat oil) are available for purchase. Both are non-GMO. Both are more expensive than soybean oil which explains why soybean oil is the first ingredient in this product. Now I’ll admit, this was my mistake. I read the marketing hype, was enticed by the low price, and failed to scroll down to the ingredients list. I won’t make that mistake again. Lessons learned: don’t believe the marketing, check the ingredients, know what I’m buying. As for negatives cited by other reviewers, yes it has a very strong fragrance that might pose an issue for some people. Also it is oily and takes a while to absorb into the skin. I noticed that the first time I used this product. Having used 100% jojoba which absorbs very quickly, I took a look at the ingredients. Silly me, since the marketing touted jojoba and oat oil, I thought those were the ingredients. That’s when I saw that soybean oil is the first ingredient and is certainly why it’s oily and stays that way. I do not recommend this nor will I purchase it again.
