I've always used old bay but this grew on me and I actually like it better than old bay

The first thing I noticed upon opening my coffee was that the smell was pleasant but dull and it did not smell fresh. I searched the packaging for a manufactured date or "fresh by" date and there was none. There was no date on the product at all. I will not buy it again because I prefer to know that I am getting a fresh product.I asked a local coffee roaster to let me know when they had some Ethiopian beans ready and I bought some recently and had the roaster grind them for me. The difference was striking in both the smell and the brewed product. The local coffee was profoundly better. Naturally, the local stuff costs a bit more but it is worth it. I suggest that if you really want to enjoy the nuances of Ethiopian coffee that you be sure you are getting a fresh product. Coffee doesn't age well.

I agree with a previous buyer--the coffee doesn't seem fresh. I have purchased this blend from other companies, so am familiar with the taste. When you open the bag, you can hardly smell the coffee--which tells me that it was ground a long time ago. It's unfortunate, because I like this blend, at this price. I wish I could taste this coffee, fresher.

This is excellent coffee. It has a very mild/medium flavor and is very satisfying. This will be a staple in our coffee selection. We use a French Press to get the best flavor.

Best tasting coffee, hands down.

Just received my order this past Saturday and it was stale. I unfortunately won’t be getting this brand again. I was so disappointed. Also it can’t be returned. :(
