I ordered the size my daughter usually is, and the slip was super long. It was around the ankles. Maybe try ordering a size smaller than you normally would.

This was a nice slip for my granddaughter but manufactures should not use nylon thread for clothing especially for children. My granddaughter was very uncomfortable with it next to her skin very itchy, so I had to turn it inside out so she could last through the wedding reception.

I understand that this is a tea length slip and that it should fall about mid-calf. Taking into account that my kid is short, this slip is very long. If your child is average height it will probably fit just fine. Other than that it is as expected and does what a slip should do.
