Great raised garden
I bought this to replace a nine year old raised garden that had begun to show its age. I wanted something of a similar size and, after a bit of searching on the Amazon website, came across this product. After looking over the description and videos, it appeared that it would fit my needs. After receiving it and getting it set up, I have to say that it exceeds my expectations. It is solidly built, easy to assemble, and quite sturdy. After getting it set up, I filled it with 4-40 lb. bags of soil which I topped off with nearly 2 cubic feet of potting mix. I assembled it in my sunroom before moving it outside and the smell of the cedar wood is wonderful. It looks great in my yard and I expect it to be quite durable. It's an ideal height for an old codger like me so I can tend to my plants with a minimum of bending - just what I need.

Love it
Very easy to put together, and easy to use. I love the way it looks, the working height, and the amount of space it offers. I have herbs planted in it right now. It gets super heavy once filled with soil, but it seems very sturdy. The only thing I’d consider changing about it would be the addition of locking casters on the legs, or something to help move it around once filled. I’ll probably end up buying at least one more of these.

Perfect for the first time gardener
My first vegetable garden. It was very easy to assemble with just a regular philips head screwdriver. I was able to put it together in 20 minutes by myself. It's very well built and it looks great. It's exactly what I wanted for a small kitchen garden on my back deck. I look forward to buying two more of the same next spring to expand my harvest. It's very enjoyable to grow my own food.

Fine Product, But...
I bought two of these, a day apart. The first one, I assembled in roughly an hour. It looked great and was light enough without the two floor inserts to carry out to my balcony. The second one arrived with two leg pieces that must have been cut for another product. Same size and height posts, but with the connection holes drilled nearly an inch lower. I didn't realize until I was too far into the assembly to repackage it, so I went ahead and finished. Luckily, I'd placed the two odd posts at the same end., not kitty corner which would not have worked. So, in this second instance, I have a sturdy product, nearly as good looking as the first I received. It's askew, but where I placed it that doesn't matter.So...Great product, but watch out, I guess, for their quality control.

The light duty is big enough and very sturdy
The light duty is big enough and very sturdy . It was easy to put together and will work great for what we want to use it for . We ordered the heavy duty but Amazon delivered the light duty . Amazon after 2 phone calls did give us a credit back for the difference in price. It is a very good product and worth the price

Nice planter but heavily cracked legs.
Update: I have still had no communication from the seller regarding the heavily cracked legs. However, the seller has shipped a new planter having legs that are not full of heavy cracks. I am pleased to raise the rating from 3 to 4 star. I can't give 5 stars because of no communication. Thank you though.______________________I ordered the Heavy Duty Planter. I had to repair deep cracks in the upright round legs. I asked the seller to please replace the legs with new uncracked legs. I received no response at all.I was short on time for planting, so I repaired the deep cracks with outdoor construction filler/adhesive. Once assembled and given a coat of Teak Oil, the planter looks nice and is sturdy. I hope it lasts a few seasons. All the parts and wood are from China. This is supposedly a family-owned business. It's most likely a Chinese family.

Support an American Veteran
We can see why this item earned its high rating. Although made in China, the American-based company has a good handle on design and production. Every drilled hole fit, all hardware was included. The wood is cedar, not fir. Expect some splitting over time as that is what cedar does. However, these planters will likely hold up for many years in Michigan weather. Very solid construction and easy to move, but be sure to place the planter where you want as this will be heavy when filled and watered. We chose the model without the bottom shelf and it is very sturdy. Filled with 3.5 bags of 2 cubic ft. Potting Mix (not soil). 66 year old lady put this together herself in a half hour using a hand held screwdriver. Very easy. We gardened an acre of vegetables for years and have now moved on to elevated planters. Much easier to work with as one ages. For convenience, we are using a thick rubber stall mat as a base which eliminates mowing and weeding under the planter. Personal preference, we placed patio blocks under the cedar legs to keep them up and out of rain water. We will be constructing a PVC + chicken wire top for the planter. For this season, we put up a six foot fence around the planter to deter hungry critters, and topped this fence with a piece of deer netting to stop hungry birds. This is a great planter and worth the price, which is surprisingly low. Go for this, not the big box store planters. You will be happy! God bless our veterans!
