Fit my M2 2TB SSD in Dell 9500 xps
I purchased one from Dell and it came in a sandwich bag with no mounting screw. This one fit my Dell 9500 xps and cane with a mounting screw.

Works great; almost the same as the original from Dell
Works great in a Dell XPS 9530 laptop in the **right** SSD slot, which is SSD2! Should also work in a Dell Precision 5570, which is essentially the same thing. Very similar to the original Dell one. It comes with 2 2mm x 2mm screws, in case you lose one. Only one is needed. The original Dell one is a deeper/darker gold color. See the photos. Dell is on the left, this one is on the right, in both photos. In the photo of the open computer, Dell is the SSD cover on the left, and this one is the SSD cover on the right.

As described, just make sure this is part you are missing - Dell XPS 15 9510
This part arrived fast and is exactly as described. It will fit in Dell XPS 15 9510, right side SSD if you are looking at the board with the battery at the bottom. However, I wasn't able to open the laptop and check the side that was empty before getting the part, since I was also missing tools, which I ordered at the same time. Everywhere refers as this right side heatsink as being for the second SSD so I figured this was always the case, but in my case the empty slot was on the left side, which I only discovered too late. So just a word of warning, make sure you check that this is the side you need the heatsink for since they are not interchangeable.

Works As Promised no issues
Like others, I needed to add a 2nd NVMe SSD to a Dell XPS 9500 but realized the laptop did not come with either the screw or the heatsink cover. So after some research, I found this. This cover worked perfectly. No issues. The cover came with the screw as well (essential). I am nearly convinced that this is made by the original OEM. Or it's a really good copy.

Exact fit for new Dell XPS 9500
This is exactly what you need when adding a second SSD to a new Dell XPS 9500. I did a lot of research and it seems Dell removes all needed parts for mounting the second SSD prior to shipping these machines. This looks exactly like the cover over the primary SSD so I am guessing this is OEM that Dell is selling to Amazon to make an extra buck for something that should be included with the computer to start with.

The Dell XPS 15 9510 (11 Generation Intel CPU) uses this cover for SSD1
My Dell XPS 15 9510 was delivered on August 20, 2021. This "Deal4GO 2nd Second 2280 PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD Heatsink Hard Drive Cover" exactly matches the cover that Dell has used for the factory installed SSD1. In the attached photo, you can see the this product, the factory-installed heat sink and the empty SSD2 slot. The "Deal4GO 1st Slot 1 M.2 2280 SSD Heatsink Cover Thermal Heat Shield 0130R6 130R6 for Dell XPS 15 9500 9510" (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08WWPCBBC/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_GNDSA8RXK53A95SG5NXX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 ) looks like it will work for the SSD2.

Must have for those upgrading their 9500s
It seems that for any XPS 15 9500 stock configuration from Dell, the 2nd M.2 NVME slot will not be populated, and it will not come with a heatsink and thermal pad as the 1st slot does. I have the XPS 15 9500 1Tb configuration and it only included a heatsink for the first slot (the one with the stock SSD installed).I purchased this item for the purpose of moving the stock 1Tb SSD to the 2nd slot to serve as a separate storage drive, and then installing a Samsung 970 Evo Plus into the 1st slot to serve as a boot drive. Everything went smooth and installation of the 2nd heatsink was as simple as it gets. Just be aware that the 1st and 2nd slot heatsinks are NOT the same, and cannot be interchanged. The heatsink listed here will only fit into 2nd slot. The part seems to be a genuine Dell product, or at least it does not seem very different in quality from the one installed by Dell. 5 stars from me!
