It'd dragged a bit throughout the whole book.Alexis was very naive in thinking that she wouldn't have consequences in the end from Gabriel after the article was printed I had no sympathy for her to tell the truth.Gabriel he strayed back and forth a lot. But I think Alexis betrayal finally pushed him too far one way and he fully embraced it.

I gave 3 1/2 stars because of Alexis & she couldn’t just let it go. What she did to Gabriel breaks my heart. She claims to love Gabriel & her son but if she truly did she wouldn’t have done what she done and betrayed Gabriel like he was nothing and the what if’s she didn’t know that would put a bigger target on their backs. Also not realizing what that would do to their son. He could grow up hating her for what she done to his father. Now pregnant with their second child and a future without the man that truly loved her and was almost trusting her again. Truly heartbreaking for Gabriel & Harry not to forget the unborn child. Alexis needs to wake the hell up and realize her family should’ve been the first priority and not her job. The two books made me feel that Alexis first priority was her job and not her family and that broke my heart. I hope the 3rd book is better and she realizes that the job isn’t important that her family is number one. I felt the second book made me see Alexis as stupid and uncaring for Gabriel and her son. And it started to show Gabriel as the caring and loving man she wanted him to be.

Color me Ruthless … Alexis and her high morality! Trying to prove herself to someone who set her up to begin with and turn her back on the father of her child; a man she “loves” but most of all a man who had really done nothing but take care of her. Granted he kept some secrets but nothing she really needed to know and he was hot and cold BUT he protected her; offered up his life for hers and always came to her. AND he wanted her to head his new publication company. They say that love is what you show and his love for her far outweighs her love for his. She deserves an accidental death 😈. Harry will be fine, he’s always saying dada anyway.

This is the second book in the Belluci Mafia series. It's a fast-paced and continuation from the previous book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. Warning: this book does end on a cliffhanger! There's action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense, twist/turns, enemies, survival, intrigue, surprises, mystery/secrets, family, anger, fear, pain, friends/friendships, conflict, resolution, confusion, strength, courage, trust, truths, stubbornness, struggles, protection, hatred, betrayal, deceit, manipulating, consequences, arrogance, annoyance, tension, kidnapping, trials/tribulations, defiance, turmoil (emotional), rivalry/rivals, confrontations, threats, frustration, determination, patience, treachery, lies, desperation, violence, heartbreak, revenge/vengeance, mistrust, obstacles, happiness, romance, passion/lust love.The H and h continues to keep each other at arms length. Why?Well, you're just going to have to read the book to find out what happens. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and this review is my own opinion.

I hate what Alexis has done to Gabriel and his empire. She’s a snake in the grass. She can’t be trusted and I’m hoping Gabriel will ditch her and find a better life partner. But I’m sure there’s a twist in this story that might redeem her. Too bad, I would still hate her. Can’t wait for book 3?

I would’ve never expected that ending! I’ve loved every book of hers so far! I can’t wait to read the next!

I love the characters. Alexis is courageous if not cunning. Gabriel is a mob boss that has a soft side but doesn’t want it to show. Can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book.

Man I am so invested in this series. The emotions between Alexis and Gabriel just change page NY page. I am so pissed at some of these moments because they need to trust each other. I laughed and cried. Great book 2.

How can Alexis trust him if he keeps hiding things from her ?? How can she give their son the happy stable life he needs , and how will she survive after Gabriel realises what she has done ??Gabriel is in the same place, how could she have done this ?? He needs her out of his life.... but what can he do. Its all falling to pieces....... now he fights for his true family and Alexis isn't itOh boy...... what will happen next 🤔 😳

Alexis is the most horrible excuse for a kick ass fmc I Hope Gabriel gets rid oh her in the nxt book all she moaned about was him being honest and manipulatng her when it was her manipulation and dishonesty thats got her where she is as for a mother to do that to her child's father when he never done anything bar be good to her ugh! Love this book but hate I too

What a rollercoaster of a book, lots of twists and turns, I can’t wait to see what happens next with this series

Think I'm running out of things to comment on other than buy the book like series 1 it's a good book I'm going to purchase series 3 now and hope it's good xx

I enjoyed the storyline of both books thus far. I understand why both Alexia and Gabriel have trust issues between each other. But I had hope at this point they would become a team.
