No problems with GE Profile
Simple clean design works great with no noticeable decrease in heat transfer. Brought 6 cups of water to a rapid boil with no melting or discoloring as some have mentioned. Also works perfectly fine with GE Profile as some said it has problems working with the range. Lastly, it keeps the glass of the cooktop cooler when finished cooking as opposed to a bare pan on the cooktop heating the glass more directly, and no scratching

Wonderful Product - Read this if you’re unsure…
My wife and I had to replace all of our appliances earlier this year and because of where we live, we had to stick with electric. After figuring things out, we purchased an induction stove specifically because of the safety and energy saving benefits.Originally, we purchased only one of these things, but decided to buy one for each burner.Pros:Absolutely protects the stove glass/ceramic surfaceNon-slipEasy to cleanCons:Cannot function on the highest settingNon-slip makes it difficult for things like stovetop popcorn or wok cookingKind of sort of takes longer to heat a panNow, here’s the deal. There are so many reviews out there about how it burned, and a lot of it is really user error. It specifically says on the item that this is for induction stoves, NOT normal electric stoves. Induction uses magnets, not radiant heating. Induction heats the pan only, everything else heats the entire cooktop. Also, it specifically says NOT to use on induction stoves without numerical settings (think digital - if you have an induction stove with a turn knob, these will NOT work) and to never use on high. If you do that, you will not have any problems.Something to mention is that you should be careful with cast iron. Cast iron needs to work on a piping hot stove, and because it can get hotter than the recommended temperature, it will burn the silicon pads. There are reviews where people say it works for them. Awesome! Just be careful with cast iron.Kitchen hack with wok cooking and stovetop popcorn: cut a piece of parchment paper and place between the silicon mat and the pan. That allows for the ability to move the pan around without damaging the surface of the stove. You could of course put the parchment paper directly on the stovetop, but you really want the silicon pad to prevent whacking the glass/ceramic stovetop. This is an A+ rating from me.

Fantastic
I recently got a new induction stove and looked at the shiny, perfect surface.I admired it.I touched it.I wiped off the fingerprint because man, it is NOT fingerprint resistant.I looked nervously at my collection of cast iron cookware, and back at the stove, channeled my best Gandalf and exclaimed, "YOU SHALL NOT SCRATCH"So here we are. I bought a set of these Lazy K cooktop mats, 3 of them in two sizes. I still need a fourth for the smallest element but I couldn't find a matching one in that size. Knowing how good these mats are now that I've used them for a couple of months, I'll be ordering another small one and just centering it over the element. It'll be too big but I trust this product now.I've tried to pay attention to the instructions saying that you shouldn't use these with the heat on high for an extended period. "Extended period" is a bit vague, but I've had the stove on max power for several minutes while boiling a pot of water and there were no ill-effects. So I'm pretty convinced that I don't need to be overly cautious with these.I expect that there's probably a small difference in heating time when using these mats, primarily because you're increasing the distance between the pan and the magnetic element by putting the mat between them. I haven't run any comparisons yet, but I don't think the difference has been noticeable to me.Cleaning them is pretty simple, a quick scrub with a brush and a little dish soap does the trick, or if I'm about to run the dishwasher I'll just throw them in there and they come out perfect. The radial lines in the design are slightly raised, which allows a small amount of airflow on either side and helps with minimizing the heat radiating back into the stove. It seems to work well, the stove surface is noticeably cooler right after removing a pan. It's still hot, but less likely to burn, and the surface is easily touchable after less than a minute. The mats leave no permanent marks. And they work great as a trivet when you need one quickly.I love these mats, they're an excellent idea for anyone that loves cast iron but doesn't want to mess up their glass induction top.

Works great, but just very slippery
Very nice Matt. Works great on my induction oven. My only issue is that it slides around like it's on ice lol. It doesn't stay put very well at all. I mean at all.

Smell is too much, and burn
First and foremost. These are designed for "INDUCTION" stove. Not glass top radiant. Please be mindful. I didn't take a photo because I thought I had reviewed it already. Not needed if you read all the reviews. This pad is very dangerous. The toxic smell, and catches fires. Not to mention the damage it can do to your stove. I liked the texture and thickness of it but found out, looks are deceiving. And they can't be used for long periods and high heat. i.e. "canning". Best to save your money and buy a cooksaid. They are thin, don't smell, or burn up. Very safe in my opinion. They are well worth it. I just wouldn't chance this one. (lazy k) They need a redesign.
