Band is as advertised in the picture and appears to be of good quality for the price. The leather isn't very supple so the band remains stiff but it's only been 2 weeks. It looks great with the watch and very sophisticated. I only give it 4 stars due to the difficulty with changing the band. It doesn't have the easy switch pins, so a tool is required and it's still a bit difficult making this difficult to easily change the band when you're in a hurry trying to leave for work. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely make this purchase again.

I ordered the alligator grain band in brown. It came with an installation tool and spring bars. The ad says "top grain" and the bottom of the band says "genuine leather". Genuine leather is the lowest grade and may be just the bottom. The band is very thin so if there is any top grain on the outside it is very little. I don't mind as long as the band will last at least a year. At the low price I can easily replace it yearly. My watch is gold color but I purchased the silver buckle for a dollar less and faster shipping. I reused the original gold watch buckle since it has the watch logo. I can't see spending 10 times the price for real alligator and higher quality. Nobody but me will know it.

Rare actually happy with this purchase. Not sure about durability yet but very good so far

This is my second one of these. The first lasted about 18 months, which is fine considering how little it cost. It wasn't the band that broke, it was one of the metal pins that hold it to the watch. When I got the new one, I realized it came with two extra pins. Hopefully this time I will remember where I've put the spares. This band is very nice looking and relatively comfortable (a little stiff at first, but it softens up after a few days). I was surprised at how quickly this was delivered. Very good service and very economical.

It is leather and looks nice and is comfortable. That said, it's still leather and will get wet or dirty in time and eventually like all leather you'll replace it with another. It's still a nice upgrade at a good price.
