Q: Can this be used to dye yarn?

Mica powders are a pigment, meaning they are small colored particles that are suspended in anything you mix them into. To dye yarn, you will need dye, which is more of a liquid or dissolving powder that stains. Q: Can these be used to make lipsticks?.

I would not advise using this to tint lipsticks ..although they are toted as being "non-toxic" the powders contain chemicals that I would not dare put anywhere near my mouth.

Q: Can you use these to color epoxy resin?

We did. Keep in mind, a little goes a long way, and it could thicken your epoxy before you want it to thicken.

Q: How well does it work for embossing?

I bought these by mistake thinking they were embossing powders but they are not. They smudge and smear over your paper and don't come off even with using an anti-static sachet or dryer sheet.
