Runs small, but worth finding the right size
I got these boots through amazon wardrobe two years ago and I really liked them in person. I sent the boots back because they were still a little too pricey at the time, but it was good to at least know what size fit me best. But last winter when I purchased a pair after the price went down a little, I was sorely disappointed when I got my usual size 8... they were unfathomably too small for a size 8. I couldnβt understand why the size 8 I tried on the year before felt fine, but this pair didnβt? So I sent them back and exchanged them for an 8.5, had the same problem.. the width is fine, itβs just the insole isnβt long enough. My big toe was crammed at the end. So I gave up and returned them. (I still wonder if some of these ill fitted boots are factory 2nds and some arenβt?)Only now was I willing to try one more time since itβs such a good price. This time I got the 9.5, and they fit me perfectly. GEEZ. Iβve owned 3 other pairs of Sorel boots in the past and have never had such a sizing issue. Glad I finally found my correct size in these boots!P.S. I hope they hold up, I noticed the other reviews of people whose boots had the heels either peel or came unglued. If this happens, please do not βthrow them in a landfillβ like another disgruntled customer suggested. There are shoe repair services that would be glad to fix the heel for you! Ya it sucks to have to pay for a repair when itβs probably the manufacturers fault, but it beats losing out on a cute pair of winter boots.

I love the style and for being a Sorel boot they ...
I read the reviews and went with a size up (I usually wear a size 5) but disagree that the sizing is off on this boot. After wearing for 3 days, the insulation has matted down and now the boot feels too big (I can remedy this with a sock but was disappointed). If you do go up a size, I'd say no more than a half size. I love the style and for being a Sorel boot they don't seem super heavy (I usually buy other brands because Sorels are so clunky!) and have gotten many compliments. The faux wooden heel is super cute. They are warmer than I expected too, on a 20 min walk with my dog in 15 degree weather I came home with still warm toes. The 4/5 star here comes from the advertisement/listing being inaccurate. The boot is listed as Kettle Black (I am even seeing that now as I type the review) but shipped and came to me Noir Black. A slight difference, but I was hoping for the shinier Kettle color and would have ordered from a different site. Too much hassle to ship back, and when I looked they didn't have the Kettle in my size anymore, so I kept them, but already regret not having the error corrected. Still, overall happy with the boot!

Size up
Cuter then the picture, and I already thought they where a more attractive snow boot. I did order a size up after reading reviews, I'm glad I did, defiantly do so. Also I think they are great quality, people have said the strap breaks easily or the heal doesn't hold up, but in my opinion these are not heavy duty work boots they are winter boots and partly fashionable so if you aren't taking them on and off by pulling on the strap and using your foot to pull off of your shoes and take care of them, then they do the job. If you want a tough boot then by a rubber boot. If you want a warm but still attractive boot these are a good option, I have tons of boots. Bogs, fry, free bird, sorrells, kodiak,..etc. and live in MI winters. Take care of your boots and they will take care of you! Over all these are great, I love them.

Runs *VERY* small!
βFeel free to ask me any questions about my review!βOnce I found my size, I was in love but that did take a few times. Iβm usually a 7.5 but order an 8 in most boots for some extra sock room. I had to size up to a 9 in these. They run so short! I do have them in 3 colors though! Theyβll be great for Our Indiana wet autumns and winters!I hope my description was of use to you!βFollow @CassandraMercedes on Instagram for more amazing Amazon finds!β

Flat out obsessed Now
I saw these boots and debating awhile on buying them. Wasn't sure how comfortable they would be or how much I would wear them. I have an upcoming trip to Denali, and wanted to snow boots for there, but since I live in Seattle, I wanted more everyday rain boots too. I normally wear between 8 1/2 to 9, so I tried the 8 1/2 first. I thought these were really cute, but my foot was hitting the side of the boot and I only had on thin socks. I figured I would send them back and get the size 9. Those worked perfectly! I could add some insoles and wear thick socks. Now I am just obsessed with these boots and build outfits around them. I work at a hospital and have even worn these on jean Friday as the small heal dresses them up more than the normal rain boot. LOVE!!

Great boot!
I love these so far! I have worn them in the snow twice (full-out playing in the snow and building snowmen with kids) and have been out in the rain with them several times already. Comfortable, dry and warm! Before buying on here I went to a physical store to try them on since sizing seems to be a huge issue with Sorel. I am a 6.5, and 6.5s fit perfect even with thick socks. However they do squeeze your toes together a bit, so I tried on a 7. A bit roomier but no toe squeeze and still really comfortable. Honestly I was torn between what size to get because both fit, but felt different and were both comfortable. I decided to go with the 7, and I feel like that was the right choice for me. I find that when it's cold, a little more wiggle room in the toe area is good for keeping that circulation going and keeping your feet warmer.

Stylish, Functional and Comfortable!
Saw these and had to have. As others have stated, these run a bit small for boots. So I went to the store and tried them on. I normally wear a 7 in shoes. The 7s were definitely snug. The 8s were much better but my heel slightly lifted when I walked. I would have to wear thick socks to be comfortable in the 8s. So I tried the 7.5s and they were perfect! So comfortable. I wore them with my smart wool socks and shoveled a foot of snow this weekend (no kidding) - my feet stayed dry and warm! I had no foot fatigue whatsoever. I love that I can wear them for weather or just because. They have good traction and the slight heel adds to the style of the shoe. I purchased these online for less than what I would at the store. They arrived promptly (thank you Prime) and adequately packaged.

Not true to the size
I am a true size 6.5-7UK and ordered Sorel UK 7, they are very tight and snug on the toes, big toe touching the front very uncomfortably. I tried them on with very light socks and still very tight, it would be impossible to wear with winter socks.Had to return the boots but ordered now size 8UK as the quality of the boot is great.

Poor quality
Itβs a lovely looking pair of boots, but i ordered a size 4 1/2 and it was too small plus I was disappointed with the quality the front of the boot as very thin, abs I need something that will keep my toes warm, we spent a lot of time out. It was like a pair of wellies.

Get a half size bigger.
Beautiful warm boots. Very light to wear. The inside lining is a little tight on the toes, I knew about this from the previous reviews so I ordered a size 7, my actual size being 6.5. I adore these boots. Excellent purchase!
